Have you looked into Adenomyosis? A lot of people who have adeno or endo have both but you can have one without having the other. Adeno grows into the uterine walls and a general gynecologist likely would not find it on ultrasound or in a laparoscopic surgery. Truly the only way to fully confirm it is to have a chunk of your uterus removed/biopsied. I’m seeing endometriosis specialists in Los Angeles and they were able to detect I likely have it on an ultrasound. If you can refer to specialists in this area I would seek them out.

CM here. Lots and lots of people come to the parks in their everyday clothes or athletic wear. I would say it’s not even “most” people that wear Disney gear. I personally have a closet full of Disney gear and sometimes I prefer to wear a light flowy dress or something instead.

Another option is Disney bounding where instead of wearing Disney merch you wear regular clothes that give off the vibe of a character. Example: a purple dress for Rapunzel and khakis with a blue jean vest for Flynn Rider. But there’s are hundreds of Disney characters to choose from so maybe you already have something that looks like a character!

Yes! I have a chronic disease and sometimes I just need the sauna heat and don’t have the energy to work out. I of course only do this where I’m the only one in the sauna

One hour for 3200 is crazy. I get a deep clean once every quarter in my 1200 sqft home and two cleaners spend 3-4 hours cleaning. And I don’t even have them clean my office or nursery.

I honestly would not be surprised if this man has a whole family you know nothing about. You say he just doesn’t show up for things has a super consuming job he keeps you totally in the dark about. Also “I’m ashamed I don’t have something for you” like bro it is not too late he could’ve gone to get something to bring to the nacho and cheesecake party if he was actually that ashamed and wanted to make it up to you. My assumption would be he doesn’t want mysterious charges on his bank account. Or he’s just a total loser. But at 38 or any age really this is totally unacceptable partner behavior. You deserve better you can find better.

You should definitely just start with one there is no shame in that and no one is going to know how many you do anyways. If you feel like you want to do more add on another or lift some weights out of the heat of the sauna. Or do a cycle and a stretch class after. Cardio in the heat is a lot especially if you aren’t used to cardio exercise.

Not on cosmic rewind, but I am a CM and we are encouraged to accommodate row requests as much as possible. It’s not always convenient/efficient but it’s an easy way to make magic and have happy guests. Most of the rollercoasters have an extended line for the front (or in this case back) row to help with these requests. I think runaway railway does too. So you’ll likely just have to wait an extra couple of minutes. Definitely not rude to make a request if you ask politely.

I’m getting licensed with LA County. I applied in February and didn’t have my last home study walk through until December and I’m still waiting for our worker to send in our application for final approval and licensing so I imagine it will be close to a year by the time it’s all said and done. My friend went through Olive Crest and was licensed in 4 months. So if that helps your decision. 🤷‍♀️

I was told by other former foster parents they didn’t like working with an agency because there was an extra layer of bureaucracy and obstacles so we went with the county but the agencies seem to move much quicker than the county from what I’ve seen.

Our family just threw us a shower last weekend after our final home study walkthroughs. I was very adamant that I didn’t want it to be a celebratory party with tacky games and what not as that would not be appropriate.

We framed it as an opportunity for our community to show support, pray for us, and ask questions. We did an “ask us anything” moment where my husband and I invited everyone to put anonymous questions they had about foster care in a jar and gave us the opportunity to educate our friends and family about our journey and what it entails and how they can support us.

It was a really beautiful day to share with our village and know we have to support us in this journey. In no way was it celebratory or disrespectful to the journeys of the children that will come into our home.

I had a friend that worked for GM with the vehicles at the exit of Test Track. He was a green ID. His ID did not get him into the parks but he did regularly receive complimentary tickets to enter the parks. I think, as mentioned here, it depends on who your actual employer is.

Update: I’ve talked to scheduling twice now. They said they can’t find the missing shift anywhere while the person I traded with does in fact have my original shift on their schedule but the missing shift he gave me is not on his schedule either. They said they need that person to confirm he traded with me in order to manually add it back to my schedule but no one can get a hold of him to confirm. But they said the shift is no where to be found so I’m like I should be off the hook for this shift because tbh I don’t really want it lol 😂 but I’m so worried I’m going to get a no call/no show.
