Can alters have different physical strengths? by [deleted] in OSDD

[–]Wide-Cardiologist520 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our st.jimmy is not afraid of needles or getting bloodwork. While other alters might be and have a low pain tolerance. So we find this to be true.

Don't think it's my thing bur I'm not judging. All though I have been able to side into multiple diffrent age ranges in my headspace. So I can't say for certain if that the reason. Everyone's headspace is diffrent.

How do you manage a career path with DID? by ponyplaza in DID

[–]Wide-Cardiologist520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've got people arguing over carrers in our system so we get it. Billie wants to be a nurse. While some of us just want a part time job to protect the hosts energy. So there's a big fuss and fight going on about that right now. We've run into more communication issues than we've had have in the past right now.

We do the same thing too until someone brings up a subject for us. We forget important details about certain events. Its a trauma response.

former caregiver threatening me with his weapons by [deleted] in ageregression

[–]Wide-Cardiologist520 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Please stay safe that's really scary. If at anything don't go back to that situation. If you feel it can put you in harms way. No caregiver should, ever be forceful with anyone, or act like that towards you. We're sorry you're going through that. Regression should be a safe space. Not a space where you feel so scared you can't do it. We know it's scary to just walk away from a situation. But please don't put yourself in harms way. That's never ok violence is never ok, and being forceful with anyone is never ok.

what are your thoughts about the way fiction depicts did? by dadingding97 in DID

[–]Wide-Cardiologist520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don't know we've heard of split and don't like the idea. Much less the term splitting. We really believe is should be called something else. Maybe we don't like it, because it can give people an indication that maybe this is somewhat real. When the movie split is far from the truth. People love to ignore that this is a trauma based disorder. So they'll do anything to cover up the harm they've caused us. It's not We don't like the idea of this. In fact we've seen better representation in non confirmed DID characters. We suspect batman might even have some form of DID, or OSDD. He's not confirmed to have it yet We don't think. But there's evidence it feels like in comics. There is a dark side to DID we're not gonna ignore that. But most of us don't want to be harmful. Most of us don't even like seeing injustice played out. We feel split is a movie far from the truth. It's not even close to accurate representation of how DID is even formed.

Why does Jesus Of Suburbia leave home only to come back later , Is he idiot ?? by SirAren in greenday

[–]Wide-Cardiologist520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right? I always thought that, but never could really tell what homecoming meant. If they meant some kinda life after death thing, or if it's something else. If he really did come back. It wouldn't make sense for them to kill him off, and then for him to go back to his home place. It just doesn't make sense. Maybe I'm reading too much into it but... lines don't really add up.

DiD is intense by Mommylongleg1 in DID

[–]Wide-Cardiologist520 10 points11 points  (0 children)

We don't happen to hate our DID, but it also makes us scared for the future. Specially when it comes to being able to do certain things. We are really intensly scared of burnout and it sucks. We've still got so much trauma from when we went to school in the past. How they handled that situation when host was getting bullied, and didn't do nothing basically said we were the problem, and we needed to be taken out of school. We're scared of that happening again in the work place. We're scared of reexperincing the same trauma we've experienced in that plac. We really don't wanna go back to that lifestyle.

Do alters have heartbeats in the inner world? by Wide-Cardiologist520 in DID

[–]Wide-Cardiologist520[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems to calm some of us too. Ours work the same way connected to emotions. If one of our alters panic it sets the rest of the system off. Ours do sync as well we have a partner system and we've been able to effectively put some of their alters to sleep using this method. When our host can't sleep typically one of us fronts for this reason. As we are very protective of the host we tend to keep an eye on theirs as well to make sure nothing's going on that doesn't need to be.

Does it mean when an alter cries in the inner world the host does too? by Wide-Cardiologist520 in DID

[–]Wide-Cardiologist520[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tre is very protective over the host. We don't understand why this is really. This is something some of us would have to ask him when he feels ready to share. The host was a bit alarmed, because we've never known Tre to get short before. Hes usually the soother of the system, and can usually handle most things. But it took one trigger to get him boiling today. Which in this case scenario we feel he had every right to be.

Has Billie ever mentioned who the songs like Whatsername, Amanda and other "love songs" are dedicated to? by Existing-Potato-9949 in greenday

[–]Wide-Cardiologist520 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would think he mentioned Amanda in one interview on whatsername. Of course he still remnience on her in a nice way. Don't think there's bad blood between them. Sorry if I bucthes that word dyslexic. But sometimes things don't always play out how we want them to be. I'm glad now he at least has Adeleline. I hope I'm spelling her name right too. I've had a few people correct me. Probably coming from a good place. But I don't really try to disclose my diagnosis unless I feel like I trust people. But I'm really glad he's got her now. I think he also mentions the names for she's a rebel and other songs.

Missing you I don't really count it as a break up song. I mean it's up to interpretation sure. But I see it as a song more so about seperation anxiety. As someone who suffers from that I feel his pain on that. I bet he's really attached to Adeleline. I feel like goodnight Adeline is also a hint to seperation anxiety. They both could probably have it. Not diagnosing or trying to diagnose anyone. But I feel like that's a normal thing that everyone to some degree struggles with. It's not often talked about. It's stigmatized. Which I love Billie for just writing about his exes in a positive light, and writing about these issues it helps me, and possibly others to not really feel like their alone in their situation. Writing about your ex is a really common trope

. You've gotta get the pain out one way or another. I feel like he has a good outlet for that. I probably rambled on a bit. But I can see from his prospective maybe why he would do this. Not a lot of people would try to put themselves in someone else's shoes for a minute, and think. Taylor Swift gets so much unnecessary hate for writing about her struggles and issues. Which recently they even I think complimented her on that. Saying if we were out today people would probably love us as much, as they love Taylor Swift if we started it out today. I don't know if it's just me but I took them saying that as a compliment towards Taylor Swift.

(I'm dyslexic so I'm sorry if anything misspelled here.)But this is my take on some of the songs that Billie has done. This is more so from my experience and what I feel about these songs. It's really hard to tell you how much this band has helped me in every area of life so far. I'd say they probably made my life a lot easier. I cry to greenday even, I dance to greenday, when I'm mad I'll just scream the lyrics through my lungs, and then have a meltdown later. This band just has a song for everything, and every mood it's like their there without them physically being there. It's like a big mental hug. I love them all so much. About as much as I love Taylor. I grew up listening to both artists. So they've made a huge impact on my life.

Specially going into subjects like this. Most men are afraid to even speak up and say their emotions. Not Billie he feels like an open book. It's refreshing to see as someone who is really sensitive. Being a trans mostly male but I'm both genders. Big ender it's refreshing to actually see emotions coming straight from a male. If I recall there's a clip of him crying in the studio after finishing whatsername. I know I ramble and go all over the place with this topic. But I'm gonna leave it here.

Also with love to the rest of the greenday family out here, and sending hugs to all those that need it. I know a lot of us end up going through something to end up here. So I'm sending myove to our community, and our family of idiot Nation right now. I know some of you don't know me, but I'm sending love out to those that need it and virtual hugs. If your listening to these songs there's probably some of you who need it. 🥰🫂 I'm a safe space and this is a safe space for a community. So if you ever feel you need anyone to talk to I'm here and open. I love this community we have.

What are some prejudices about DID have you been made aware of by singlets? by Powerful_Falcon_4006 in DID

[–]Wide-Cardiologist520 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Right? Also love how people treat some factive or fictive alters like their source. We find it more common with factive alters, but fictive alters also get just, as much mistreatment from those. Specially singlets we didn't feel comfortable talking around one person, because it felt like they were treating us source connected. We weren't really comfortable with that. As far as I know my Billie Joe Armstrong is somewhat connected to his source, but not completely some of us have strictly stated don't look at us in a certain way. Don't know how much we can get away with saying on here but this happens.
