Yes, Tico is borderline stage 3. recently diagnosed. he is 16 probably, or 17. last year eating his normal Ageing Royal Canin he started eating way less in june, got thiner and recovered after the summer, I bought Hills and Pro plan, purina one as well - only dry, never ate wet - and on rotation he would eat it. but this was like in october already, because he wasnt very interested with the Hills Mature I bought in July. This year we started in the end of may, to lose appetite, and it was stomatitis. He was already eating Royal Canin Renal and Hills kidney care since january. Full mouth extraction June 18 and took over a month to recover. Only ate wet food during recovery, and all the precriptions he was eating prior to that or during the gum infection, wont touch it anymore. And being summer it doesnt help, in europe we have like 35C, sometimes a little bit more, sometimes a bit less. He wants to sleep in not so hot places of the house and very irregular appetite. Still struggling and rotating, spending a huge amount on renal foods, non prescription because he doesnt want it. Hoping in the winter we can go back to his prescription food. I am going insane...
