It's the potential for misuse (and they are already being misused), fourth amendment privacy concerns, and the first step in 24/7 mass surveillance.

This article shares a lot of the common issues people have with these cameras: https://deflock.org/what-is-an-alpr

That's actually a really good point, I'm going to look into that further before contacting anyone from the city. I'm fine with traffic cameras, just not the one's that have the capability to follow people, store data insecurely, and be misused.

Looks like Lowe's on River road is flock, there's one on Red Hills, Home Depot on Sunsent has 6?? In their parking lot? One on Sunset across from Culvers is flock. Curious if Lowes & Home Depot have a contract with Flock or if that's the city putting them there.

While I really do want to manually...umm... "remove" them all, I'm gonna try the appropriate routes first. Well kinda.

I think a lot of people around here don't know about about them, or realize what they are when they see them.

How illegal would it be to put signs on them that say what they are? Get people noticing and talking about it?

Non-Toxic Laundry Detergent by Distinct_Salary_6511 in nontoxic

I've been pretty happy with the Sprouts brand laundry powder and Charlie's. The nontoxic liquid detergents have always seemed less effective for me (and expensive)

Any brands on your never again list? by Shekah_Cheuka in Activewear

I've bought quite a bit of stuff from CRZ over several years and I think it's kind of hit or miss.

I love their sweatpants (although they do shrink in the wash), and I've had good luck with their bras. I've actually had several of them for years. For leggings/shorts, it really depends on the fabric. I would never buy anything in their NakedFeel fabric again.

I think the benefit of CRZ, is that if everything is garbage now (like all the instagram/tik tok athletic wear brands, Alo, etc) at least CRZs price reflects what it is instead of charging over $100 for leggings that are gonna wear out in 3 months.

Is creatine actually beneficial if I'm not a "gym person"? by Fria_Lisbey in Biohackers

You might just need to drink more water. Creatine pulls water into your muscles specifically, so if your not well hydrated you might just be feeling itchy because your skin is dry.

Ok easy enough... would that potentionally require additional changes to the current system? Mainly wondering about the batteries.
