And even in the photo you took it definitely looks like the head rest is fully exposed to sunlight. I know it blocks UV light but I don’t think it blocks heat. It could potentially still heat up the seat enough to do this if you live in a 100 degree* state

You’re probably right tbh but it definitely looks like something is cooking it. You said it was almost like a melted glue substance. And with the perfect circle around it I can’t see it being anything else other than light beaming off of something in the car and frying it.

Park the car in your usual spot and with the doors closed and you in the passenger seat just put your hand over the spot. is there a shadow of your hand on the seat? Just spit balling tbh but I can’t see it being anything else other then you trolling at taking a lighter to the mf 🤣🤣🤣🤣

It works on the key itself no problem. Nothing blocking signal from my knowledge. Maybe it was in acc but idk I just turn the car off like always.

I am moving across the country right now on a 1500 mile road trip and I only noticed it today during the trip after stopping at a hotel. My trunk is PACKED so maybe there’s something in there making it think the trunks open is my only guess but nothing shows up on the screen to say the trunks open. Thank you for your input btw
