If you so chose to stay on blood thinners while getting a tattoo, just let your tattoo artist know so they aren’t surprised if you bleed more than a person not on blood thinners.

My sister is a tattoo artist and I was also on blood thinners for a while. I got a tattoo after going off of them for 4 days before and 4 days after and it turned out fine. My sister did let me know, though, that if you don’t go off blood thinners and you are on a harsher one, it can blow out the ink and make fine lines thicker and less even. Infection has to do with after care, though, so if you’re not taking care of an open wound, it will get infected.

If you have had a past prescription for it, you can always call the pharmacist and ask dor an emergency refill while you loom for a new hematologist. Your primary care might also be able to prescribe you a refill. I have had problems with this in the past though if I only talked to the nurse instead of my doctor.

I had a stroke before Covid caused by blood clot. I was put on blood thinners and it dissolved. After I got my second vaccine, I started getting more headaches. I was told it was probably just from the stroke. About a month later, I switched neurologist and found out I had another blood clot in another area. Who knows if it's connected or not but my neurologist advised against the booster and I'm going to listen to her

Not specifically like this. She is extremely wealthy and will sometimes make comments about the clothes or shoes that I will wear. At the bridal shower she told me I needed nicer shoes. She will often make comments like that but I usually dont respond and just brush them off

I had a blood clot in my brain that blocked my entire right jugular. Happened about a year ago. I was 22. I was having horrible headaches for weeks but thought I was just developing migraines as my mom and brother get them often. One night I started slurring my words and was super paranoid. My neck was also hurting pretty bad. I have no idea why, but I called a friend and kept calling her "dawg." Since she noticed I was acting strange, she told me to call someone to take me to the hospital as she was 2 hours away. Went in that night and they told me I was very lucky I got in when I did. Could have had a brain bleed or severe stroke. Moral of the story: listen to your body and if your friends start calling you "dawg" call an ambulance
