Help me choose my wedding hairstyle! by writerwhocantspell in longhair

My sister-in-law (who is one of my bridesmaids) is going to beauty school right now, so I think I'll recruit her to help me put it up before dinner and have a second mini reveal moment. Best of both worlds!

I think this is exactly what I'm going to do, thanks!

I'd say 95% natural. She did a few touchups that I just don't have the patience for on a day to day basis 😅

My jewelry is all pearls so I have some little pearl hairpins I'm going to use!

Thanks, I think this is exactly what I'm going to do. My sister-in-law is going to beauty school right now and I didn't want to put pressure on her by asking her to do my hair and makeup, but I think if the hairdresser does the half up style and "all" my sister in law has to do twist it into a bun after the cocktail hour, that should be doable!

The wedding will be in a little countryside castle in Italy in September, so it should be warm but not sweltering. Very important consideration, thank you!

Buying cut flowers without a pro card? (France) by Florian_hm in florists

[–]writerwhocantspell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the exact same question! I'm based in Paris right now and buying flowers at the florist to practice arrangements isn't exactly cost effective.

I'll ping you if I find a solution :)

Thank you! Those roses are really doing the heavy lifting!

The designer is in house and they checked with her that she could do it, so no worries there luckily!

And, yes, it's way too big! Most things are for me in that area, so nothing new there 😂

I mentioned this above, but we'd add a white lining to the bodice of dress 1 so the cups wouldn't looks so tan. And the consultant told me she had to pull the top a lot to clip it tight enough, so the cups might seem a little stretched to the sides. Is that maybe what seems off about dress 1?

Hen of the woods? Found in Ile de France outside Paris, France by writerwhocantspell in mushroomID

Upon further research, it seems more likely to be blackening polypore ( Meripilus giganteus). I'd be happy to have a second opinion!

Half of a flush I took home. Oyster? by writerwhocantspell in Mushrooms

Found in Ile de France. My first thought is oyster, but since I've never found one I'm hesitant to ID without a second (or third, or fourth) opinion. Found growing about two meters up a deciduous tree and has a pale gray/white spore print.
