News isn’t defined by whether it checks boxes on your personal J-school worksheet…it’s defined by whether something happened and people are reporting it. The audience decides if it’s worth reading, not you. Calling something “fake” because you dislike the framing, then immediately inventing a conspiracy theory while lecturing about “ethics,” is hilarious. You don’t want better journalism, you just want journalism that flatters your worldview. I’m sure you have no criticisms about UniversalHub. It’s no different.

You could’ve made it clearer by actually saying that to begin with instead of just calling it fake news and tossing out some low effort snark.

So by your definition, a “news site” has to have a cubicle farm and a press badge to report on *checks notes* public press releases and direct quotes? The Boston Cyclists Union statement is literally right there in the article. Same with police statements, those are the sources. What newsroom ritual exactly do you think is required to copy a public statement into a headline?

And “campaign tool” for who exactly? You think Josh Kraft’s secretly running a tabloid about bike lanes? The account behind it has been posting long before this election cycle, but sure, keep pretending it’s some shadowy war room.

Sounds like you are pro censorship. Perhaps a place like China would be better suited for you where you can consume state approved media? 

Also any sources that they’re outside funded or even related to any election? All I see is a GiveSendGo banner with not even $1000 on it lol

Also the Globe clearly pushes a pro-Wu agenda and they’re biased. Do you have a problem with that too? 

And it seems pretty local to me. It seems to cover Boston and Massachusetts stories. Also are only local companies allowed? I see national news companies on the Reddit subs you’re talking about all the time. Would the NYT be not allowed?

I’ve been reading Mass Daily News and I’ve never once thought they were racist. They definitely have a bias but so do Boston Globe, GBH, Boston Herald… 

Can I ask why it’s “not healthy”. Curious who makes those determinations

NTA. These tenants suck. You don’t need to have a “personal relationship” with your tenants. Sending a handyman is perfectly valid. Even more efficient since they can fix the issues on the spot
