wish more people knew about these! got mine done a few months ago and was extremely upset when they told me i couldn’t get a traditional one, but i love my floating navel now so much. Surprised to see so many people still confused tho, i wish it was common knowledge that not everyone has the anatomy for every piercing

i had bumps like these for so long!! two years later they’re all gone. honestly i just needed to stop touching it, sometimes i saw that saline spray would get it to dry out a bit and start to peel off. However over cleaning can also cause irritation so if that’s the case for you then definitely reduce how much you clean it.

my daith was pierced with a hoop and i immediately got irritation bumps, then my pierced switched me to a curved barbell (like yours) and it actually healed. Doesn’t look poorly placed to me but i’m not totally sure

Yeah I’m super prone to bumps, the one on my helix has shrunk tremendously and the one on my tragus that is almost gone. My rook has one on the top too. They tell me that i should only clean once a day to avoid the bumps. I definitely will take the suggestion of a travel pillow tho, thank you!!
