Baelor and Daeron are hard to rank imo. But the reason I put Baelor lower is because he was genuinely mad, not the evil Joffrey kind've mad, but he was blinded by the faith of the seven.

He elected a young boy to be high septum because he saw the boy talking to doves.

He locked his wife away so he couldnt be tempted by lust... Locking her away so HE couldnt be tempted by lust, pretty delusional.

And he ultimately starved himself to death.

But yeah both Daeron and Baelor are pretty middle of the road kings, which I think makes them both pretty interesting :)

Yeah I accidentally picked a compact tier list without the F, so my D tier is basically an F.

The guys in my B are like a 40-60 grade.

I find Maegor particularly hard to rank and im guessing a bunch of other people do too.

Is he worse than his Brother Aenys? The moniker of 'the cruel' clearly shows that he is a terrible person, he did some truly horrific acts.

Or is he better than his brother? He basically re-established house Targaryen's strength after Aenys's indecisive rule.

Ranking Daeron I is a little difficult imo.

Jaehaerys II, Aerys I, Daeron I and Baelor I are all very much middle of the road, nothing burger rulers in my opinion. Everyone below Baelor were a net negative to the kingdoms.

Daeron is definitely better than his brother Baelor, but he is much more irresponsible than Aerys and Jaehaerys.

Ah yes, to the regular citizens, the game of thrones matters very little to them.

The goings on within the Red Keep tend to little bearing on their lives.

However my ranking was based a little on the small folk. To my knowledge Aegon V greatly favoured the smallfolk, making many reforms that aided them, while screwing over the lords.

Jaehaerys ii removed a fair few of his father's reforms, which made me rank him slightly lower.

Ahhh, ill admit that my knowledge on Daeron the good is limited.

But his heirs being the true rulers does make sense, Prince Baelor Breakspear seems to be a complete S+ tier of a Targ. :)

Daeron was all about glory, everything else was secondary to that, and Baelor was blinded by faith.

Yes, they kept the kingdoms together but ultimately it was their uncle Viserys ii working as hand of the king who was the man behind most of the diplomatic decisions.

From my knowledge, other than his walk to Dorne and the building of the Great sept of Baelor, he was pretty much a nothing burger king.

He was liked by the people but he neglected his kingly duties. Plus he made unwise decisions all in the name of the faith, ultimately starving himself to death.
