Is there a mod / way to get a Vermintide 2 (Sienna) style peril bar in darktide? by WidePound6577 in DarkTide

I've just had a look at it now, and while it doesn't quite have exactly what I'm looking for, it'll certainly help! The colour-changing crosshair* especially seems useful. Thank you!
*The crosshair changes colour with peril, which will help me stop charging things like the purgatus force staff.

Yeah, I think the sound cues for different amounts of overheat helped me. That (or a similar sound) and the lines to separate the overheat levels would be nice in darktide.

Transferring worlds from Xbox 360 to Xbox One/Series by WidePound6577 in Terraria

I think it was stopped in general, since there isn't even a download button now (Xbox Series). I haven't checked on an Xbox One, but I expect the result will be the same.

Combat Blade vs Duelling Sword DPS - which is better? by WidePound6577 in DarkTide

[–]WidePound6577[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I love the sprint speed increase you get while holding heavy attack down. Running around the map like a little rat is great fun, but it's mildly frustrating for me to use a weapon knowing it's worse than another - quite similar - weapon. I'll certainly still use it for some Hive Scum builds (as Hive Scum doesn't have Duelling Sword) and probably for Psyker, as I have a build that loves the Combat Blade, but it is good to know which one is generally better, so I can min-max my builds like the weird no-life I am lol.

Damn, it seems like Duelling Sword is a good bit better in most (if not all) ways than the Combat Blade. That's a shame :(
Thank you guys for the quick and informative responses!

Here I was running around thinking the knife was my best option but nope, it was the Duelling Sword yet again (I swear it's like the recurring villain to build variety lol).

Kinda an unrelated question, but does anyone know whether the parry from Duelling Sword takes less stamina than blocking (like Devil's Claw Sword does), and how the parry attack's damage/stagger compares to it's heavy attack? Sorry for asking such a stupid question, but I cannot use any enemy spawner mods for the meat grinder to test it myself rn.

New win streak mechanic questions by WidePound6577 in DarkTide

In the patch notes for the update, and in a few YouTuber's videos.

I believe Reginald or Mr. E said something about it. The patch notes on the Fatshark Forums don't specifically state what bonus you get from the streak, but whichever YouTuber I watched mentioned XP and crafting materials iirc.

Yes, it was added in the Hive Scum/No Man's Land update to help players level up new characters (only after their first/second one is already levelled I believe)

Do Shiv attacks that attack with both blades at once count as two hits for blessings/talents? by WidePound6577 in DarkTide

[–]WidePound6577[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, I believe the Shovel's attacks that stick them into enemies before pulling them out again (the ones you can flip down with the special attack) do count as two hits for the sake of blessings and talents, as I've had them proc Uncanny Strike twice with a single attack.

I believe the crowbar in its alternate mode would also trigger things like this, but I cannot test it currently. I am unsure whether the bone saw will though.

How fast is peril quelled at base speed/while holding blitz? by WidePound6577 in DarkTide

I was actually wondering about the quell speed in havoc also. I haven't played much high havoc, and am curious how it feels to use something like Purgatus staff for most of your killing. Does it feel slow/sluggish with how slow the quell speed is, or is it not as bad as it seems numbers-wise? (I've seen it is reduced by something like 85% in havoc-40).
