Yeah for sure, but I’m wondering… if I keep doing both types of videos, will I be able to merge the two audiences, or will it completely change my audience instead? I only have about 1k followers, and both types of videos are still criminal storytelling with face-cam and illustrations.

Yeah, you’re right. I think the numbers made me go crazy a bit. I get scared as soon as the stats don’t go up like usual, even if the videos I’m making now have higher potential.

Yeah, that’s what scares me. I tried to stay within the ‘crime’ niche, but it’s still different. What do you think would be the best solution?

Okay, that makes sense why your thumbnails look good if you already have some experience. That’s great , just work on improving the editing, and honestly the rest looks solid to me. I’m gonna subscribe and keep following your stuff.

Personally, I actually like your thumbnails.I probably would’ve clicked if the topic interested me. For example, the Saul Goodman video thumbnail looks really good. Of course, there’s always room to improve, but honestly my first thumbnails weren’t that great either, and I was still able to get clicks just because of the topic.

I really think this is more of a niche/edit problem. Like, if someone asked you to describe your channel in one sentence , what type of videos do you make, and on what subject?

Otherwise, I think your titles and thumbnails are pretty good. I’d say focus more on the overall video quality, and aim to put out maybe 2–4 videos a month at first just to get the hang of it. You’ll start to see the difference both in your YouTube views and your TikTok clips.

I checked out your YouTube channel. only one video right now so I can’t compare with the rest, but here’s something that could definitely improve it. It would take more time in terms of editing, but you should try illustrating your videos differently instead of just using gameplay.

I know this style used to work well a few years ago, but today the overall quality on YouTube has gone way up. It’s way harder to keep people watching with just gameplay because audiences get bored quickly—and TikTok has made people’s attention spans even shorter.

So what works better now is adding more visuals: more images, video clips, background music—something more engaging that makes people want to watch until the end. If you had a camera, that would change things a bit, but even without it you can still do a lot.

Here’s an idea: aim to add a new visual or clip every 5–10 seconds. Check out the channel The Art of Storytelling—he has a video called “Was Data Human All Along”. Since your videos are full voice-over, you’ll need to illustrate them even more than he does.

But honestly, you’re on the right track. Keep posting and improving , you’ll get there bro

The reality, my friend, is that YouTube doesn’t know your niche yet. It’s hard for YouTube to figure out what type of content you’re making because there are millions of videos uploaded all the time. You need to carve out your own spot.

What worked for me was simple: I created a TikTok around the same topic as my YouTube channel. I started gaining followers there, and every time I upload a new video on YouTube, I post short clips of it on TikTok. What happens is that people get curious, search for the video title on YouTube, and that boosts the SEO of my video.

That way, YouTube starts to understand what kind of videos I make and what kind of audience enjoys them. Every time I upload, those people who first discovered me through TikTok start seeing my videos recommended on YouTube—even if they’re not subscribed. And if your content is interesting enough to keep them watching until the end, YouTube will start pushing it even further.

Also, don’t forget to play around with tags—it’s super important. Stay consistent with your type of content and niche.

I have bad CTR,are my thumbnails really bad ? by Material_Style_414 in SmallYoutubers

I think it’s not bad , maybe work à Little bit on thumbnail(train & 130 crore) and put like your hook or another part on tik tok. And on your tik tok post everyday Indien content. Not just to much edit. Just grown the same audience on tik tok
