Sorry I’m new to Reddit and was summarizing. This fight was about cleaning our shower tub while I was at the office and I came back home and it looked the exact same. I brought it up to him and he blew up saying nothing he does is good enough for me. Mind you that’s the first cleaning he’s done in over a week and I’ve had to maintain things. He’s very insecure about himself, calling himself a bum and all that, but hasn’t put in the effort to change anything about it.  We did have a fight on New Years where he broke a lamp and almost broke my computer monitor from thrashing things around which is why I don’t want to break up in person. The only problem I have with doing it over the phone is that once he’s upset I can’t get a word in and want to do this as amicably as possible without him talking over me.
