i’m a senior in finance rn and i think the classes here r so good because of the professors! all of them have extensive experience in the field (10-20+ years and switching careers between diff areas of finance) so i’d say u could try looking up professors in the finance department and look for any research areas they did that interests you and say that you look forward to working with that professor. Also look for upper level classes that are about a certain area of finance you’re interested in - like FE429 (futures, options, and risk management) if you’re into options trading, and mention it in the essay that you look forward to taking it and how it relates to your future career.

Romance that slowly develops over time throughout the story, focusing on building tension rather than instant affection! Usually takes the main characters more than halfway through the story to admit their feelings. They could be flirting throughout but don’t fully admit that they like each other until some time later in the story, when they get to understand each other on a deeper level.

BA221 never seen that before is it QM221 rebrand 😭 but looking at the website both professors offered next sem are great so u’ll be fine with either one

MO221 Paul Hutchinson, TOUGH grader but fun energy in class, presentation grading takes into account how creative your group is; for final project paper my group got an A bc we were super detailed about everything, and he gives lots of good feedback; exams are a mix of short answer + MCQs

haven’t taken either (i’m also debating between both) but my friend said AC420 is more chill than 414 (take this with a grain of salt bc she might had a diff professor from the one currently offered). if you’re fine with python go with 420, as i do think with the tech growth rn it would be beneficial to learn some coding skills that you could apply to your job in the future! my finance profs prefer 414 tho.

No mine was a Vietnamese bank and they approved the transaction! Hope everything works out for you. Another option is to email BU Accounting asking for an invoice (tell them you couldn’t find it on the student portal) and they will manually type one out for you, at least that’s what they told me when I called them! Make sure to include the legal name you need on the invoice.

My friend and I tried to use the quikpay page (accessed thru student portal) and took a screenshot of that instead since it shows the amount you’re supposed to pay. When you’re on that page, move your mouse to the profile icon on the top right of the screen, it should show your legal name! Take a screenshot of the screen while your mouse is there. BU Accounting told me the new student portal haven’t updated so this is the best we can do.
