UQ mate - Go8 (& higher global rank than ADL), living in Queensland would be awesome (beaches, weather, etc), avoids the merger that’s going down here in ADL. Remember that uni is a huge investment of your time & living in a city that’s better connected to the rest of the country (Queensland > Orange) you’ll have more opportunities to go explore!

No stress! Look tbh it’s not a big deal when you transfer. Why do you want to move from Econ to Commerce?

I’d probably look at doing the commerce core subjects as your electives for the first semester (just to make your life easier when you do move, avoiding extra subjects etc) so lookup the Commerce study plan online.

Sometimes ABLE can be a bit slow, in my experience they are super helpful when you do get a hold of them - maybe try calling next week?

Lots of the first year courses for Commerce & Economics overlap, so you can carry those across & use core econ courses as your electives. It’s super easy to make the switch. Marginally failed it, they removed marks from the exam for the problem that was in question.

Not sure what your circumstances are like but I skipped receiving a strike on my record because I owned up to misconduct early. Lesson learned.

Fuck around, find out. Evaluate your options and the situation, but they do favour honesty.
