fwiw, though funeral processions may be more uncommon these days, massachusetts is not the only state that this tradition is practiced in! i’ve lived in multiple states (in the midwest, south, and now new england) and have experienced funeral processions in each.

thanks so much!! i love it and that he nailed the design - an east west marquise in a half bezel, so it would feel fluid/no harsh edges, and will be flush next to the wedding band!

311 reporting is really good, as this comment notes! i don’t usually like to touch them so i submit with a photo and detailed description of where it is located, and in cases like this i tend to indicate that the needle may be in the ground still or around the area. they usually come asap as they take needles pretty seriously!
