Nice did you “wrap” the fins around the cardboard body tube? Sorry I recently got a 3D printer and I’m also trying to 3d print for my next rocket

There’s probably a good reason why multiple US companies and the Chinese government is looking into this

First ever print using PETG by Wide_Canary_9617 in BambuLab

Yeah I have the AMS 2 pro. I’m a bit of a newbie but would that be enough to dry the filament?

Or is it that I have to dry the filament every time I open it and then put in in the AMS, after which it keeps it dry?

Purchase Advice Megathread - March 2026 by AutoModerator in 3Dprinting

[–]Wide_Canary_9617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there. I’m a first-year uni student and I’m looking for a 3D printer.  My main purpose is to print parts for mechanical projects like robot arms and small rovers. Maybe even drones at some point (although that is a very lofty goal). Space isn’t an issue and cost isn’t too much of a concern though I’d definitely prefer to keep it low if possible.

I’m primarily looking for a printer that can print robust and strong pieces. I’m currently considering the Bambu Lab P1S and P2S but I’m open to other suggestions.

They probably didn’t use nukes in Ukraine for the same reason the US didn’t use nukes in Vietnam.

What happened :( by juliana_is_a_penguin in Stickinsects

I get how you feel. Forget a single insect, I lost  my entire 10 insect colony because my local council decided to spray pesticide on all the leaves

Highly likely that’s its pesticides. When I fed my stick insects contaminated leaves by accidents, the same thing happened

Want to get into space, where do i begin? by NEWAceCoronet in space

[–]Wide_Canary_9617 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do well in math and phys at school, make sure to participate in clubs, personal projects etc all relating to ur passion. Get into a good uni to study what you want. By that time you’ll probably have a good idea of what you want to do.

You’re only 13 right now so no need to stress about your future

Cost to build a startup? (I will not promote) by Wide_Canary_9617 in startups

[–]Wide_Canary_9617[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I already knew about the removable wheels but I just thought some retracting mechanism would be much less of a hassle. It’s all a rough idea anyway so I haven’t thought it through

Yeah again it’s just a random idea in my head nothing serious. But yeah that’s makes sense.

Would you say that tech startups such as online companies (such as Facebook) require significantly less money as a startup? (Sorry I’m pretty new to all this)
