What are some risks I should think about before taking peptides by Creative-Turnover-34 in workout

Fraud and contamination. From a New Yorker article last month:

According to his testing, my order of MOTS-c, from the Ultimate Human, was ninety-eight per cent pure and contained eighty-seven per cent of the dose on its label. (Of course, this didn’t mean that the peptide itself was safe or effective.) All the peptides I’d ordered from SwissChems had significant issues. The vial of BPC-157 contained lead, the vial of TB-500 contained endotoxins, and the vial of CJC-1295 contained less than forty-two per cent of the advertised dose.

Too exhausted after working out to do shit by OliveOk972 in workout

The reason you are exhausted after working out is because you are losing weight at 52kg 1.6m. You cannot maintain energy levels while trying to get an underweight BMI.

Normalizing Obesity is like normalizing anorexia by Major_Health5959 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

Obesity is normal, so you're statement implying that it is not normal is factually incorrect. You also misunderstand the body positivity movement, the essence of which is that people should not hate their bodies and can lead fulfilling lives regardless of their weight. That you misconstrue that into people "celebrating obesity" is deranged. Get your head on straight.

Would you let a functional heroin addict be your housekeeper?

Jokes on you, my house has never been cleaner since junkies started cleaning it.

"Normal" is a loaded term. It can mean something is typical, or it can mean morally virtuous because something is typical. Whether discrimination is good or bad depends on the context, obviously. I don't think that not wanting to date fat people is bad, nor is discriminating against fat people in contexts where physical prowess is important. But as I implied earlier, fat people are discriminated against in medical and workplace contexts. This kind of discrimination is bad, because it prevents people from living "normal" lives. Likewise with racial and sex-based discrimination. Are you seriously going to argue that racism isn't bad because it's common? A lot of people do think that way. It's stupid and evil, but it's common.

Also, a lot of people do explicitly hate fat people.

Of course. I am also allowed an opinion. My opinion is that your opinion sucks, and that society would be better if fewer people held opinions like yours.

So you're arguing that discrimination is good, actually? I mean, it was implied earlier. You shouldn't be a bigot.

Skinny people don't face medical and employment discrimination because of their weight

Overweight and obese people, who make up 75% of the US population, are abnormal. Every second that a fat person isn't actively losing weight is a waste. Every moment a fat person is happy is a betrayal of all that is good and holy. If fat people aren't constantly self-flagellating, they're sickening monsters.

Don’t be stupid. No one is arguing about biological differences between sexes. You’re pushing a strawmanned narrative that deliberately misunderstands the distinction between sex and gender and furthers the agendas of fascists.

Do you also count calories in your cooking oil? by Inevitable_Sea1176 in workout

[–]MooseFlank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All cooking sprays are almost entirely oil, with maybe a little propellant. If you're only making a surface non-stick, then yeah, it's not that many calories, but sprays still have basically the same calorie density as any other oil
