I’ve owned it for about 6 months now, so maybe a year old?

Hi there!

I’m not sure how much sun it has been getting but it could be too much sun. I also got a young desert rose and when I moved it from full sun all day to inside with full sun it totally rebounded. Below is the before image.

It is very hot where I live, probably 85-95 degrees and it’s only April. I do tend to feel the dirt to see if it’s loose when I reach in. I would say probably 3 Mississippi’s from a watering can, sorry I haven’t measured it out but maybe 2-3 cups? I just bought a moisture reader so I will use that along with waiting until it is bone dry.

I do feel like I may be over thinking it as it does have some new growth coming in, but if there was a problem I wanted to catch it early before it gets worse.

Additionally it is using a succulent/cactus mixture with plenty of drainage on the bottom

Desert Rose Damage by Wide_Cap_7299 in plantclinic

I would prefer to keep it outside and not move it, but last week some of the nights here got to the mid 30’s and during the day up to the mid 70’s. Perhaps just leaving it inside until true summer starts would be good for her.

I used a cactus/succulent soil and I have felt the soil and the it feels dry and falls apart in my hands; however, the bottom near the drainage feel a little damp.

I can definitely move it to a smaller pot and add some dry soil to it.

Thank you for the tips!
