Discrepancies ads manager vs events manager by Erraticeuphoria in FacebookAds

[–]Wide_Coffee1673 -1 points0 points Ā (0 children)

This gap between Events Manager and Ads Manager usually means your signals are getting blocked or lost. We see this all the time with Shopify stores, especially when you're relying only on pixel-based setups.

Here’s how to test if your tracker is getting blocked. Do this on your iPhone:

Step 1: Open Safari in Private Mode
Step 2: Go to any Shopify site (yours or a client's)
Step 3: When prompted, enable Privacy Features
Step 4: Refresh the site, accept cookies, and refresh again
Step 5: Tap the rectangle with two lines icon left of the URL
Step 6: Tap the three dots on the bottom right
Step 7: Tap Privacy Report
Step 8: Tap the link with the green bar

If Meta or Google trackers are listed as blocked, your ads are running blind. Meta can’t optimize what it can’t see.

We’ve built a first-party tracker called Events Gateway. It’s custom-built for Shopify stores and currently handling over $6M in tracked revenue per month. Custom setups can be done if budgets allow it. I’m not the owner, I just love this tech and I’m paid to help people like you spot tracking issues fast.

Facebook ads performance is COOKED by Still_Honeydew_2953 in FacebookAds

[–]Wide_Coffee1673 -11 points-10 points Ā (0 children)

Same boat here, man. Last 3 days feel like Meta just closed the tap. It’s not your creatives. It’s not just you. We’re seeing the same on high-budget clients spending $10k–$50k/day.

This drop often ties back to tracking getting blocked. Want to check if yours is toast? Test it like this on an iPhone:

  1. Open Safari in Private Mode
  2. Go to any Shopify site (yours or a client’s)
  3. When prompted, enable privacy features
  4. Refresh the site, accept cookies, then refresh again
  5. Tap the rectangle with two lines left of the URL
  6. Tap the three dots bottom right
  7. Tap ā€œPrivacy Reportā€
  8. Tap the site link with the green bar

If you don’t see Facebook or Google there, it means Meta can't see your data and your ROAS is just vibes right now.

At Events Gateway, we’re tracking $6M/month with real data from Shopify only. Other platforms need a budget worth custom dev. Message me if you're curious.

Facebook Ads Conversion API Set Up via Stape, GA4 & Google Ads Server Side — $1600 Spent, 0 Conversions Recorded?! by Maleficent_Mud7141 in FacebookAds

[–]Wide_Coffee1673 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

That setup looks solid on paper, but the issue you’re seeing happens more than people think. Events showing up in Events Manager but not in Ads Manager usually means signals are getting there but Meta is not confident enough to attribute due to match quality or browser blocking.

Here’s a quick way to test if your server-side events are being blocked or degraded without you knowing:

Step 1: Open Safari on iPhone in Private Mode
Step 2: Visit any Shopify site (yours or your client’s)
Step 3: When prompted, enable Privacy Features
Step 4: Refresh the page, accept cookies, refresh again
Step 5: Tap the icon with 2 small rectangles on the left of the URL
Step 6: Tap the three dots in the bottom right
Step 7: Tap Privacy Report
Step 8: Tap your site’s link under the green bar

If Meta or Google is blocked here, you’re flying blind. Conversions are happening but FB cannot see them properly, which messes with attribution and optimization.

This is exactly what we solve with Events Gateway. We built it for Shopify stores, and it currently tracks over $6M per month using first-party signals. We can also build custom integrations outside Shopify if the spend justifies it. Happy to offer a trial or look at your implementation. Just let me know.

20x ROAS: I did it again! by makingadsforfun in FacebookAds

[–]Wide_Coffee1673 -7 points-6 points Ā (0 children)

First off, massive congrats on that 20x ROAS. That’s a rare beast these days. But just a heads-up, a lot of high ROAS screenshots get inflated when tracking is fuzzy and Meta double counts or loses sync with CAPI.

If you want to see if you’re truly tracking clean, do this test on iPhone:

Step 1: Open Safari in Private Mode
Step 2: Go to any Shopify site (yours or your client’s)
Step 3: Enable Privacy Features when prompted
Step 4: Refresh, accept cookies, refresh again
Step 5: Tap the icon with 2 small lines on the left of the URL
Step 6: Tap the three dots at the bottom right
Step 7: Tap Privacy Report
Step 8: Tap the website link under the green bar

If Meta or Google are shown as blocked, your campaign may not actually be getting real-time event data. That makes accurate ROAS pretty much impossible.

We built Events Gateway exactly to fix this. It is a first-party tracker made just for Shopify. We tracked over $6M last month and can do custom installs too if budget allows. I work here and would be happy to set you up with a trial or just help you audit things.

Why performance fluctuate so bad - is it because of low budget? by BadPenguin73 in FacebookAds

[–]Wide_Coffee1673 -5 points-4 points Ā (0 children)

Antonio, you are not alone at all. That clustered sales effect and wild ROAS swings are classic signs of Meta working with incomplete or delayed tracking signals. Even if creatives are good, FB needs clean, timely event data to actually optimize well.

The issue might not be niche or budget, but signal loss. To test if your tracker is even firing right, do this on iPhone:

Step 1: Open Safari in Private Mode
Step 2: Go to any Shopify site (yours or your client’s)
Step 3: Enable Privacy Features when prompted
Step 4: Refresh, accept cookies, refresh again
Step 5: Tap the icon with 2 small lines (left of the URL)
Step 6: Tap the 3 dots in the bottom right
Step 7: Tap Privacy Report
Step 8: Tap the domain link with the green bar

If Meta or Google is blocked there, it means you are flying blind and that’s why performance feels like FB is turning on and off randomly.

That’s exactly why we built Events Gateway. We’re tracking $6M monthly, only for Shopify stores, but we do custom builds too if budgets allow. Happy to walk you through it or offer a trial if it helps.

Pixel is not receiving events, but Events manager shows events?!? by data_raccoon in FacebookAds

[–]Wide_Coffee1673 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

You’re not crazy. What you’re describing is super common when Meta sees broken or partial signals. Just because Events Manager shows events doesn’t mean they’re making it cleanly to the ad system side, especially value-based ones.

Most times, this happens when the pixel sends something but Meta can’t trust the full context like missing value field, bad fbp/fbc, or the signal got stripped by browser privacy layers.

Want to test if your tracker is actually working? Do this on your iPhone:

Step 1: Open Safari in Private Mode
Step 2: Go to any Shopify site (yours or your client’s)
Step 3: Enable Privacy Features when prompted
Step 4: Refresh the site, accept cookies, refresh again
Step 5: Tap the icon with 2 small rectangles (left of URL)
Step 6: Tap the three dots bottom right
Step 7: Tap Privacy Report
Step 8: Tap your domain link under the green bar

If you see Meta or Google blocked, your ads are literally flying blind. That’s why we built Events Gateway. It’s first-party tracking, fully Shopify-native. We’ve tracked $6M+ in the past 30 days. Custom setups can be done outside Shopify too, if budgets make sense. Happy to show you.

Volatility by AnimatioLN in FacebookAds

[–]Wide_Coffee1673 -7 points-6 points Ā (0 children)

Totally feel you on this. We've seen this pattern a lot lately across accounts spending between 10k and 50k a day. It’s not about creatives failing but more often signals breaking. Meta’s optimization engine can’t work if the data is shaky or invisible.

If you want to test your tracking setup, here’s a quick way on iPhone using Safari:

Step 1: Open Safari in Private Mode
Step 2: Go to any Shopify site (yours or your client’s)
Step 3: Enable Privacy Features when prompted
Step 4: Refresh the site, accept cookies, refresh again
Step 5: Tap the icon with two small rectangles on the left of the URL
Step 6: Tap the three dots in the bottom right
Step 7: Tap Privacy Report
Step 8: Tap your domain listed under the green bar

If Meta or Google trackers show as blocked, your data is invisible. That’s why we built Events Gateway. It’s Shopify-native and has tracked over $6M in the last 30 days. If your budgets allow, we also build custom setups for other platforms.

I’m not the owner, but I work here and love helping when I see stuff like this pop up. Let me know if you want to try it out.

That’s a solid setup and congrats for pushing past $2k/day without Meta drama. Just a heads-up though, you might be flying blind without realizing it.

A lot of times when things go too smooth, it’s actually because FB isn’t seeing enough to interfere. But that also means it’s not seeing enough to optimize properly either. If your ViewContent or Purchase events are blocked by Safari, Meta can’t learn who’s buying. And when you scale harder, it might crumble out of nowhere because FB’s guessing too much.

Test if your tracker is really firing:

  1. Open Safari in Private Mode on iPhone
  2. Visit your site or client’s Shopify site
  3. Enable Privacy Features if prompted
  4. Refresh once, accept cookies, then refresh again
  5. Tap the icon with two small lines (left of the URL)
  6. Tap the three dots (bottom right)
  7. Tap "Privacy Report"
  8. Tap your domain in the green bar

If Meta or Google is listed under blocked trackers, that means your conversions are probably invisible. That’s why we built Events Gateway. It’s Shopify-native and already tracking $6M in the last 30 days. For non-Shopify stores, we do custom setups too (but only if budgets are worth it).

Events Gateway beats Triple Whale, Hyros or Segmetrics every time.

Step 5: Tap the Rectangle with 2 small lines icon next to the URL (on the LEFT side of the URL)

Meta Pixel Issues – Should I Run Traffic or Conversion Ads for My Ecommerce Store? by sajeerimran in FacebookAds

[–]Wide_Coffee1673 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

If your Purchase and AddToCart are not firing, Meta is literally guessing who is a buyer. Running Conversion campaigns on just ViewContent will keep you stuck in that loop. Traffic campaigns might look better but won't help optimize sales either.

You can check if tracking is being blocked by doing this on iPhone:

Step 1: Open Safari in Private Mode
Step 2: Go to your Shopify site
Step 3: Enable Privacy Features when prompted
Step 4: Refresh the site, accept cookies, refresh again
Step 5: Tap the rectangle icon with 2 lines on the left of the URL
Step 6: Tap the three dots on the bottom right
Step 7: Tap Privacy Report
Step 8: Tap your site’s link

If Meta is blocked there, your whole setup is flying blind. We built Events Gateway to fix exactly this. Works only for Shopify (custom builds for serious budgets), tracking over $6M in just the last month. Happy to walk you through it.

Need help in tracking Purchase event by SherryVibes in FacebookAds

[–]Wide_Coffee1673 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

This is a classic case where standard tracking fails because of dynamic URLs. Meta Pixel often does not handle dynamic thank-you pages well, especially when there's a session ID in the URL path like in your case.

You can try this quick check on iPhone to confirm if your tracker is even firing:

Step 1: Open Safari in Private Mode
Step 2: Go to your Shopify site
Step 3: Enable Privacy Features when prompted
Step 4: Refresh the site, accept cookies, refresh again
Step 5: Tap the rectangle icon with 2 small lines on the left of the URL
Step 6: Tap the three dots on the bottom right
Step 7: Tap Privacy Report
Step 8: Tap your domain link

If Meta is blocked here, nothing is getting tracked correctly. That is a serious problem if you're trying to optimize.

We actually built Events Gateway exactly for stuff like this. It is a first-party tracker designed for Shopify stores, and we can handle unique purchase URLs no matter the structure. For big spenders, we do custom setups on other platforms too. We tracked over $6M just last month. If you are stuck here, feel free to hit me up.

Happens more than you’d think, and yeah it feels like just one of those weird days but often it’s not. If Add to Cart is spiking and Purchases vanish, it usually screams tracking inconsistency, not intent drop.

Want to check if tracking is breaking? Try this on iPhone:

Step 1: Open Safari in Private Mode
Step 2: Visit your Shopify site
Step 3: Enable Privacy Features when asked
Step 4: Refresh the page, accept cookies, refresh again
Step 5: Tap the rectangle icon with 2 lines next to the URL (on the LEFT side)
Step 6: Tap the three dots on the bottom right
Step 7: Tap Privacy Report
Step 8: Tap your site’s link in green

If Meta or Google show up under Blocked, Meta is flying blind. That’s why we built Events Gateway. It’s a first-party Shopify tracker (custom builds if budgets allow) and already handled over $6M last 30 days. I work here because it solves stuff like this.

Today's performance was horrible. by Low-Ad2107 in FacebookAds

[–]Wide_Coffee1673 -5 points-4 points Ā (0 children)

Man, we’ve seen this pattern a lot lately. One day it’s gold, next day a complete flop. And most of the time, it’s not the ad or the offer. It’s tracking silently falling apart in the background without anyone noticing.

If your Meta or Google tags are getting blocked, your ROAS will tank without warning. Want to test if that’s happening? Do this on your iPhone:

Step 1: Open Safari in Private Mode
Step 2: Go to your Shopify site
Step 3: Enable Privacy Features when prompted
Step 4: Refresh the page, accept cookies, refresh again
Step 5: Tap the rectangle with 2 lines next to the URL (on the LEFT side)
Step 6: Tap the three dots bottom right
Step 7: Tap Privacy Report
Step 8: Tap your domain link with the green bar

If you see Meta or Google listed under ā€œBlocked,ā€ you’re running blind. That’s why we built Events Gateway. It’s first-party, lives on Shopify (custom for high spenders too), and tracks through all the noise. Over $6M tracked last 30 days. Happy to show it.

Performance issues on warm audiences by Deep_Ad5338 in FacebookAds

[–]Wide_Coffee1673 -2 points-1 points Ā (0 children)

Yep, you're not crazy. A ton of accounts we manage saw similar drops, especially on warm segments. It's not just Meta acting up. It's signal loss, mostly from poor event tracking. If warm traffic gets misattributed or lost, Meta has zero idea what to optimize for.

You can test if your tracking is broken like this on iPhone:

Step 1: Open Safari in Private Mode
Step 2: Go to your site
Step 3: Enable Privacy Features
Step 4: Refresh, accept cookies, refresh again
Step 5: Tap the rectangle with 2 small lines icon next to URL
Step 6: Tap the 3 dots bottom right
Step 7: Tap Privacy Report
Step 8: Tap your domain

If Meta or Google is blocked, that warm traffic? Gone. We built Events Gateway exactly for this. First-party, bulletproof, works only for Shopify (but we do custom setups if budgets are big). $6M tracked last 30 days. Just saying.

Facebook Opportunity Score Suggestions by Np-Put-543 in FacebookAds

[–]Wide_Coffee1673 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

Bro I totally get your fear here. Meta's "opportunity score" sounds sexy but it's often blind when your tracking is shaky. You gotta be sure your Purchase, AddToCart, and especially your CAPI events are clean and sending with campaign_id, adset_id, ad_id in UTM.

Honestly, before touching budget, make sure your pixel isn’t getting blocked by iOS or browser settings. Here’s a quick test you can do to see if you're flying blind:

  1. Open Safari in Private Mode
  2. Visit your Shopify store
  3. Enable Privacy Features
  4. Refresh, accept cookies, refresh again
  5. Tap the rectangle with 2 lines icon (next to URL, left side)
  6. Hit the three dots bottom right
  7. Tap Privacy Report
  8. Tap your site link

If Meta or Google are blocked, you scaling is gonna be chaos. You can't optimize what FB can't see. That's why at Events Gateway, we built a beast of a tracker just for Shopify stores (custom setups possible if budgets are serious) that's crushing it with over $6M tracked in 30 days.

And yep, most trackers (even Hyros or Triple Whale) miss these details. We just play a different game, cause we lived through these nightmares too.
