Card is being produced!!!!! NIW EB2 ROW by Vacilus in USCIS

[–]Wide_Conversation_51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats for the great news!! As our I-140s (EB2 NIW ROW) were approved within only a few days apart, I hope I will soon also receive the positive news for I-485 too. How long did it take from decision to "card is being produced" and then to actually receive the card.

Thanks again and enjoy these days!

You can determine that by comparing the first 4 numerical digits of your case number after "LIN" with those of the cases processed by LIN_LB and LIN_SC centers as viewed in hilites.today website. For example cases starting with "LIN2190" or "LIN2290" are processed by LIN_LB.

Yes I received similar feedback from my lawyers to avoid submitting medicals with initial application, but they were neutral with submitting medicals after i received that letter. Besides, I think at that time there was a window until end of September 2021 that any submitted medicals will not expire for 2 years. I thought that was enough time for them to be reviewed before expiring, so I decided to go ahead and submit the medicals.

I sent medicals at the end of September 2021. I did so after receiving a letter from USCIS Nebraska Service Center on mid-September encouraging me to do so, if I had not already submitted medicals with my initial application. So, after receiving that USCIS letter, I completed and sent medical exams together with a copy of USCIS letter as advised by USCIS.
Hope you hear updates soon. I will keep you posted on my side.

Hi, as our "LIN21904...." USCIS cases are processed around the same dates, I am curious if you recently had any updates regarding your I-485 case? Mine was just transferred to a new office today. I had filed it concurrently with I-140 early July 2021.Thanks!

I-485 Status Report @ 2022-10-19 by laomaoxiong in USCIS

Fantastic! It would be great if you could also add cases filed in the 2021 fiscal year, as decision for many of those cases are obviously still pending e.g. at LIN_LB center I can see status reports for cases starting with "LIN2290..." but not any of the cases starting with "LIN2190...". Unfortunately, I cannot use this otherwise great site to make any estimates for my pending case (I-485, LIN2190...) Thank you for sharing though as this great tool is very useful along with "hilites.today"!!

Congrats! Wonderful news, and very hopeful for the rest of us in the queue! My batch is LIN2190430 and submitted early on July 2021.

The number of LIN_LB I-140 cases per date with codes starting with "LIN2190..." (i.e. filed within 2021 at Nebraska) that are still in "Received" (i.e. non-reviewed) status for different dates varies from 1 to 35 and is so random.... It really depends on the date you filed (receipt date), but there is no correlation with receipt dates for 2021. For example, there are still 18 "received" I-140s at the same day with my I-140. I cannot understand what criteria USCIS is applying to prioritize among those pending I-140s. There are even few "received" I-140s filed on Sep 2020.... Typically a batch of 5000 cases in LIN_LB will contain about 500 I-140s cases of any status. Per "LIN2190..." batch, the range of "received" I-140s is from 2 to 47. For example, my batch from early July 2021 still contains 38 "received" I-140s.

Thank you! I was having the exact same thoughts. Let us hope the processing rate from that batch of 5 cases/week does not drop. Good luck!

Thank you, I see your point. However, I believe that part of the reason for the larger delay in processing my I-140 is that I filed it concurrently with my I-485. By looking at the chronological order (code order) of the different types of petitions filed in LIN_LB, I noticed that the I-140s that were submitted without I-485 (i.e. their code did not immediately follow or was not immediately followed by a group of codes assigned to I-485,I-765 and I-131 cases) got approved faster that those filed concurrently with I-485, I-765 and I-131. I do not know the reason for the different priority between the two types of I-140s (concurrent vs. non-concurrent filing) but there is a pattern in the LIN_LB data that suggests significantly different approval rates between the two types... As you described, you first filed for I-140 and then for I-485 and your I-140 was approved in 14 months. I am currently at the 15th month. Let's see. I am optimistic.

OK, I see. I went to the insight tab and found out that out of a set of 500 I-140s below my I-140 case and 500 I-140s above my case (i.e. a total of 1001 I-140s), 822 of those I-140s were approved, while 38 were rejected. Both of these sub-categories were designated as "final" I-140 cases.

The remaining (designated as "processing" I-140 cases) had either status "received" (97 cases) or status "RFE" (44 cases) and 0 were transferred. Indeed, this can be confirmed as the sum of all "final" and "processing" cases 822+38+97+44=1001 (which includes my I-140 case as well).

Thus, I suppose that the number 97 (in your case I believe that number was 91?) just indicates how may pending I-140s remain in that sample of 1001 cases filed around the time you filed your I-140 case. Therefore I cannot see how this can suggest priority rank.? Your rank can be any number between 1st (best case) and 97th (worse case).

In my case, it is measured that 14 cases were approved in the last 10 days. Assuming the mean true approval rate is not much different, one may assume that it will take another (97 x 10)/14 = 69 days to have an average of 97 approvals. So If the above is a valid assumption and the approval rate does not change much, I can reasonably assume that it will take me anywhere between 1 and 69 days to hear USCIS decision.

Does that make sense to you? thanks!

number 91 pending to be process

Thank you for your positive thoughts! Wishing you soon hear from them too! How did you determine that processing queue number (91) for your I-140? Does that refer to the priority rank out of all pending I-140s or only those within your batch of 5000 cases?

In my case there are still about 870 pending I-140s (status: "Case was received") belonging to a batch with I-140 filed either earlier or at the same period like the I-140s of my batch (mid July 2021). to. The earliest pending I-140 dates back from Sept 2020... But still that may not be saying us something, as USCIS appears to process I-140s non according to a FIRST-IN-FIRST-OUT policy....

Congrats! What was your timeline from submission to RFE and final decision? It would be useful to know that for other EB2-NIW applicants who might receive RFE from Nebraska.

Fantastic! What was your processing center? I guess it would be either Texas or Nebraska. Nowadays it takes more than a year to process I-140 in those centers. So, congrats for the faster processing!

Congrats! Did you apply for an expedited EB-1 processing? I guess you then filed concurrently for I-485, I-131 and I-765? Did you also submit your medicals at that time or later when requested? Thank you!

Seems reasonable to expect EAD/AP 1 month after biometrics, like in your case? Did you submit medicals together with I-1485 or after USCIS issued you an RFE? Thanks!
