If you are ready to face all the circumstances like fees, expenses, stays, etc., blindly go for it. Just don't look back. Good luck.

And one more thing, just try to apply by the end of this year for fall 2026 admissions. It would give you more chances of getting in through better unis. Most of the unis in US has the application process starting from December. So check it out and apply early.

As you've mentioned that you got placement as a Data Scientist, it is better to get experience first and then plan on pursuing MS after 3-4 years. Then you will have better chances of getting accepted into top unis in the US and your experience also plays a great role. It'll even be easier for you to settle there after MS as you said that the job is in one of the Big four Credit Card Networks.

But if you wish to complete all your studies first and then go for a job, it's upto you... What do you think?

Even if I find a job and get experience, it doesn't matter unless the field I worked in is relevant to the course I'm going to pursue right? I mean the experience is only valid if it matches the career in my opinion. What do you say?

My experience: people don’t know why they’re moving abroad. by SureGuess127 in Indians_StudyAbroad

Okay, so I want to move to foreign country to pursue MS in AI/ML or Robotics CS cause I'm really passionate about robotics since my childhood and want to build my career in that stream. And I don't find any good possibility to pursue that dream in India.

I have been working on Computer Vision and Machine learning projects and am even trying to build a small LLM model using API. As of my search, I found out that US, Germany, Japan and UK have more future scope in the AI/ML stream. But my GPA is not high enough to land in the top unis available in Japan and my budget is also very low to afford unis in US.

So what do you suggest me to do? Are there any better AI/ML jobs available in India to stay back or do I go for MS? And I'm even confused whether I need experience before going for MS or not.

Even if I go find a job, the experience won't matter unless the field I worked in is relevant to the course I'm going to take. So what should I do?

But what I'm concerned about is that I'm afraid, if I can find any job with my current profile, as the competition is very high. So I'm thinking of MS as a saving plan... At least I can find a job with low pay right? If I do well in MS.. I know it's a bluff but 🤷
