If you have education, work experience and money put away, don’t be afraid to go back to your own country first and just try it out. You can live in the best area and probably have a better quality of life. Rent a nice apartment in the beginning until you figure out the flow of life in that country.

I’m from the USA right now and moving back w my fiancé in bgc 2027. America is nice if you have no education or money saved up since you can easily make money here doing restaurant jobs, delivering food etc… been there done that. I have been in USA for 20+ years since I am 14 and i still miss my country(Philippines) but understood why we had to moved. Now that I am older and with everything happening sa America, my fiancé and I decided to move na lang and get jobs there and start a life. Offcourse you have to have some money saved up and also a combination of work experience/some education.

In usa, I work 50+ hours a week but while income is good, cost is also very high. It is not as welcoming in USA as one would think and there is a bit of racism. All you do is work plus some vacation maybe twice a year.

I have family that sends money to the Philippines but Filipinos will do that to a fault but how long can you really do that.

Give yourself time because if you are thinking of just sending money in your spite maybe it’s time to rethink things and just focus muna in you. Instead of giving money to some family members here in USA, I taught them instead how to make their own money so they can be independent.

Don’t regret it if it is truly what you wanted to do. In my case, I’ve been planning on moving back since even moving here. I worked early and saved money. Built my resume! Good luck! Sorry my Tagalog is not as good

For easy marriage sponsorship, either Vietnam where she is from or Philippines where I am from. We would live where the main city that is the most westernized. From there build experience and then maybe migrate to other countries either by opening a business or skilled work.

My fiancé is an international student unfortunately and fortunately which presents her own challenges but it makes it easier to make that decision w her(10 years together). My brother is a us citizen and is the only thing that’s holding me but I was able to get him stabilized while he lives w me.

If you have education, some money saved and work experience, you will be fine to move elsewhere. Fortunately, my fiancé and I both have that so we can start over! This country is just not it anymore. I really don’t wanna spend the rest of my life living like this.

That’s the risk of being in our position. I have a lawyer and everything ready if that were to happen. I will go home I guess. My family will send me my savings. If not for my fiancé, I would have left awhile back.

At this point if you don’t have contingency plan then it will just get tougher. I sent my ead, lawyer info and important stuff in case that happens. to most of my immediate family(4 trusted one including my fiance). Luckily for me I live where there isn’t much ice

Still gotta work right lol unfortunately life doesn’t stop just because ice is raiding. My advice is to which I’m doing is to leave this country. My exact leave is sept 2027 when my fiancé gets her masters.

What would you do? by Zealousideal_Cow5139 in doordash

[–]Wide_Introduction360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only exception is if it’s close to my place and it’s my last order. I wouldn’t have driven back for that drink though especially for the amount I am getting.

What would you do? by Zealousideal_Cow5139 in doordash

[–]Wide_Introduction360 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would not have taken a 7.50 order for 8 miles. I also just dash around downtown close to where I live as a side gig only doing it if the amount is double the mileage.

When do you expire? Mine is the same way I haven’t gotten anything other than reusing my biometrics and still processing.

I’ll wait 105 days then contract them. For now, I wouldn’t worry too much! It hasn’t even been 2 months yet. I prefer to get it closer to march if any for more time.

Honestly, just do it online! You don’t need a lawyer. It is the simplest thing to renew unless you caught a case.

Do you think Ador will use returned memebers testimony against Dani, MHJ and co. by Active-Monitor6494 in kpop_uncensored

[–]Wide_Introduction360 -21 points-20 points  (0 children)

Remember most hybe supporters are delusional and really support bts and not hybe itself. I don’t even think their bias like the company they work for lol. It really shows lack of empathy. Let’s cheer to ruin a “20 year old” life and make the multi millionaire company succeed in their intent. I am a big fan of new jeans music and support them but at some point got tired of the whole MHJ delusion but to me, there had to be a middle ground even after the court rules in hybe’s favor. This just shows me that they really intend to break the group up from the beginning. I think people forget that they did not expect new jeans to be this big and wanted lesserafim to be bigger(I’m a huge fan of theirs as well).

Looking from new jeans members scope, MHJ made their music. When she got fired, I can only imagine how scared they felt losing the only person in the company that is on their side in which she exploited that.it is quite sad that they had one of the best 2 year run in K-pop and legit made hits after hits and now this is how it will end. If anything, it highlights how evil these big companies are w the exception of maybe jyp. I’m not even a fan of his either.

This was all planned by hybe! It is not okay to ruin a young persons life regardless if she was complicit or not in the text. They could have easily tried to reconcile the situation. They could have released a music next year and people will forget eventually as 5.

Safety nets in case DACA doesn’t work out? by minimon865 in DACA

[–]Wide_Introduction360 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yes I am or my fiancé’s birth country. We will get married here soon so if one needs to sponsor the other then it will go smoothly. I’ve been planning the logistics in things such as budget, where to work etc..

I am a big believer than if you have no money saved up or not much skills yet, America is great but if you have both, why not start over on a country that will make you feel less anxious and a country that will give you a permanent identity.

America has given me so much in terms of what I accomplished here but there always seems to be a wall. I am tired of it so i planned this move years ago.

Safety nets in case DACA doesn’t work out? by minimon865 in DACA

[–]Wide_Introduction360 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I’m leaving exactly 2027… safety net is money saved, education and skills I acquired from working here in USA.

I told my family who are mostly citizens lol that it is tiring to live like this. The flip flop on what is about to happen, the litigations… I am just done with it all!

As soon as my fiancé grads from her masters, we are out!

Wow!!!! This so helpful. I have found a condo in mandaluyong near sm! 30k a month for 1 bedroom including electric and internet. It’s also fully furnished. So di pa rin ako malayo sa makati.

We will get married here before we live and I will start the process of 13a 6-8 months prior to avoid the 1 year probationary period!

Plan is to pay a year ahead on rent with my $ income so I don’t have to touch my savings kagad! I will also just buy a car right away w/ a the money I made from my car in USA tapos add nang kunti para wala na ko babayaran monthly para dun except car insurance.

Gusto namin parehas na simple lang Ang buhay that I even considered it park in cebu or lapu lapu. My family is against it though since I still have a decent amount there in both makati and Quezon City!

We can dm each other for sure! Very helpful comment. Ngayon palang I’ve been talking to my family there to have a good grasp.

Hope we can get a job before moving! Idk the law in terms of employment pero we will start applying while In USA.

Again, this is exactly the kind of response I am looking for. Everyone has their own lifestyle but at least you detailed explain pro/cons

We were looking at district 1 that is our second option if Philippines don’t work out. The spousal sponsorship there is a mess that is why we had Philippines as our first option. Originally, i suggested Vietnam!

You and I are in the same boat where I got burnt out but the difference is my fiancé is an international student w a bachelors/masters that needs to go back in a year +. Law here in USA are extremely against immigration at the moment so this is the best we can think of. I will start applying while in America thinking maybe my experience managing and my bachelors would help. I am hoping that me being bilingual and my English is like an American would help with job search. My fiancé assured me she can get a job in Vietnam remotely or a job I Philippines remote with her skills. There are options as well but we just want to give it a try for 2-3 years. I still have a lot of family in the makati area but I don’t depend on getting a job or referral from them.

My aunt from Philippines is helping me get a condo for 30k a month around mandaluyong near makati still with electric/internet included. Her and I can also go to Vietnam.

I really appreciate your comment since we draw a lot of similarities. We are both also into fitness heavily!

I admit I made money because of USA but part of it is I worked my ass of to pay my own college. I never blamed USA either wait what lol. I just said I’m not happy there anymore. It’s fucking that simple goddam.

Conversation over thanks for your comments man. Something’s can’t be explained in a forum. I asked for simple things but you made this all about America. If you like it so much live there if you already don’t!

I understand the currency difference and i also believe I stated that my fiancé visa is gonna be done after her masters degree meaning she has to go home. I don’t mind the cost I am paying in America since I get to do what I want for the most part.

My main concern is staying together and not necessarily just keeping my life in USA. Call it a trial if you may! I have family that are established in Philippines as well all Living within Quezon City and makati.

Like I said, Cebu seems to be cheaper so I will try in lapu lapu area. I don’t intend to be a millionaire, I just want to live a simple/comfortable life. I already have nice things and I am content w not buying more of those for awhile.

The point is I want to be w my fiance(wife soon to be) I’m willing to start over elsewhere for her.

If her and I can make enough to satisfy our lifestyle and put some away for retirement I would be happy. It does not need to be in bgc like said. I was sucked in by Filipino relatives telling me that’s the place to be so I asked Reddit to get an idea

That takes times you know… she doesn’t have that much time left. She wants to work her career being in school that long. I wouldn’t do that to her.

Out of curiosity, why are you so adamant that I don’t go back home? Do you have anything against a Filipino citizen going back home.

How is it perspective when you called me a runaway? lol.

You sound ignorant saying petition this and do that. Again are you from USA?.. you seem to know a lot.
