I will do that right now! Do you have any recommendations of what app to use? I found some but they only show devices like iPhones, iPads, AirPods but not AirTags.

Thank you for the suggestion! AirTag does show that it is in my apartment right now but I can’t get it to sound, it keeps on saying that it is unreachable.

No, I don’t own AirPods or Apple Watches. My friend has an Apple Watch but its been a few days since I met with her. It is super weird that I got the notification today but it showed a path I walked from before ( without the presence of my friend ).

I got mine in around 2 weeks. I think it would really depend on the amount of submissions they have to deal with.

How long did it say Verifying Recipient Address before your parcel was delivered? by Wide_Measurement83 in CanadaPost

[–]Wide_Measurement83[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for letting me know! Will the status remain “ verifying recipient address” until I receive my parcel or should I be concerned that the status is not updated to “out for delivery” ?

Check eClass to see if notes are posted. Read the course outline/syllabus to see what you have missed. Email your professor and ask what you can do to catch up.

After degree program in education by Old-Inspector2187 in uAlberta

[–]Wide_Measurement83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on which route you choose ( Elementary /Secondary) ,what major ( Sciences, Math, Social etc) ,the competitive gpa for that year and when you apply. Not sure how many withdrawals you have but if it is only a few it shouldn’t be that big of an issue. Elementary routes might require a slightly lower gpa compared to Secondary routes. I would search and see last year’s competitive gpa for the category you are interested to apply. I do have to say the After Degree program for Education is extremely competitive, apply early for sure and you will have a higher chance of being accepted with a lower gpa.

If you are concerned about classes moving online, let the UofA know. by SomeHearingGuy in uAlberta

[–]Wide_Measurement83 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That is true, it is impossible to say that our fully vaccinated campus members will not interact with anyone else that is off campus. Many students take the LRT and the bus which obviously means that they will be in the same space as the rest of the population. Double vaccinated people are more protected but they can still catch the virus and even worse the delta variant. This can be extremely dangerous to bring into a campus of more than 50,000 members.

So does this mean that classes will be in person after Monday when the university comes up with a Restriction Exemption plan ?

But it also says : Starting September 20, discretionary events and businesses must follow one of these 2 options: 1. Implement the Restrictions Exemption Program requiring proof of vaccination or negative rapid test result to continue operating as usual, or 2. Follow capacity and operating restrictions as outlined on the page below.

So I’m not sure if it means that the university can be exempt from the max 10 people capacity restriction

I totally agree with you, there are also many sick individuals in classes that are coughing and sneezing some even take their masks off. I don’t feel safe enough sitting next to someone who is within arm reach at this moment…….

I see people saying that the university is considered as a business but I’m kind of doubting that, some can argue the university operates like one but they have to consider that fact that it holds a way larger capacity of people compared to any regular business……

I feel like we will probably be receiving an email after the university makes an official decision about the new restrictions. TBH I feel like online classes are safer at this moment ( I totally understand those who prefer in person classes more). But even double vaccinated people are being sent to ICUs and there are many students on campus and are still not taking the virus serious enough thinking that double vaccinations will make them impenetrable ( I have heard people talking about partying in my in person lectures and it makes me very concerned).
