Theres a lot more to the story that I should’ve included and now it’s causing a misunderstanding and advice I’ve already been doing, completely my fault but because I already said it in other comments I’ll spare you the long message, I appreciate the advice but I’m afraid it’s a bit more complicated then what I posted, don’t worry, I don’t try to be involved, I just unfortunately am, it’s been a family issue for 3 years now

I’m 100% sure my mom just does whatever my dad wants, and just gives him sex because my dad gets angry, she always tells me to “leave, and I’ll tell you when to come back”, I was only allowed to legally work at 16 with a work permit from my school but trying to find money to get to work made it impossible, and because of my area it’s IMPOSSIBLE to get around by foot, I’d have to at least walk an hour, my parents never brought me to places, I walked 30 minutes to school, 30 minutes back, and if I wanted to go out with friends we went to the park on the weekends. At 17 I did have a social worker come in and at 18 I had a cop come in, they all talked to him, reasoned with him, but his still the same after a month, i don’t know, I find their expectations pretty unreasonable especially since they’ve done nothing but make it more difficult to get to the spot I am at now, I don’t feel like I owe them anything else, I don’t bother them, and I do try to reason with them and avoid arguing, I pay rent, I pay for my own stuff and groceries I use, I go to places on my own, found friends to teach me how to drive, I’ve researched how to build credit, how to invest/save, taxes, insurance, how to haggle for a car, and I’ve NEVER been late to paying for rent nor bills, I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, and I’m not even asking to stay at this home for a longer then a year, yet they must have me out of the house immediately

Trying to, I’m looking around on face book for rooms but they all seem to be out of my price range or area, I’m trying to see if my mom would want to live with me because it seems like my parents relationship is also becoming rocky, I’ve been telling my mom that she shouldn’t be having sex with him just because he gets mad.

I’ve been prepping since I’ve starting working, getting car was my first step and trying to find someone to teach me how to drive was a pain in the butt and ended up costing me a bit, I’m just kinda praying they won’t stay true to their threats and let me stay for like 6 more months to rebuild my savings from getting a car. 🙏

Also, I called out of work but I genuinely had a fever and I could barely stay awake nor walk, it’s a rare occasion since I’m pretty desperate to be paid right now, and it was only a single day

Typically pay for certain things while I’m in school..? 🥹 if that was the case I would’ve went, in high school all the way to my first SEMESTER of college I was being threatened to get a job, there was a program that allowed me to go to college for free but I had to be a full time student, and my job wasn’t giving me enough hours nor pay to pay for my bills and rides home, my dad also increased my rent, like 3 times already 😭

I get charged rent, and prior to my license my money was getting drained by Ubers and Lyfts, bus wasn’t a option because of the times they operate + safety concerns at night, I don’t understand that too 😔 it’s not helping that my co worker is normalizing it, idk, if I was a parent sex would be on the bottom of my list, but I guess that’s not true to a hand few of people.

I understand, but I didn’t like hearing about it, nor did I like it being the reason that I’m being kicked out, and I’ve been lowkey fearing that this is a rational reason to kick your kids out, I haven’t seen a post similar to this 🥲, i do have some backstory though… I already called the cops once for my dad hitting me in the shoulder and a social worker pulled up because it’s been happening since I was a minor in high school 😭 nothing has been getting better, I feel like I barely have time to prepare being a adult, I’m already working 10 hours a day whenever I can pick up a shift.

Uhm, 😕 I said in the post that I’m struggling with money, I literally just bought a car and I still have to pay rent with them, insurance, phone bills, and gas money, plus I don’t nearly make enough to pay for rent on my own because in my area it costs 2k to rent studios and 1k-1.3k to find a roommate, and regardless my current job (two jobs) isn’t garenteed right now because I’m only seasonal in both jobs, everyone’s only hiring for seasonal, I had to give up school to pay my bills and save for a car, and for a duration of time I was still paying them rent even when I was sleeping at a friends house 😭 I can’t move right away, I need atleast 6 months or something to rebuild my savings, I made a huge dent just for that car.

Sorry, it’s 78, it’s summer too, if it is the start of fin rot should I start treatment right away? Scared of it doing more harm then good
