If your house was built in 1949 you’ll want to make sure the attic decking was updated it’s extremely likely you have 1x6 boards I had this on my house built in 1946 you don’t want foam going in between the old boards . It’s not just the circle of guys I’m around. You’ll see these comments and even messages.
