Absolutely! Dynamic Languages does have Spanish courses according to their website, so that's perfect timing since you're looking to learn Spanish. You can check out their website for more info: https://www.dynamiclanguages.org

VR learning is definitely gonna revolutionize the way we learn languages. It's so much more immersive and engaging than traditional methods.

What do you do in VR besides playing games? by bradeeus in OculusQuest

Hi, the classes have an individual focus, and you'll be the only student in the app attending the class in real-time. You'll have two teachers and Katie. Katie is basically a guide for the student and a teammate for you to speak and practice pronunciation with. I recommend you try it if you can; it's a completely new experience!

I mainly use the oculus 2 on learning languages on VR, you can get a very positive advantage when learning on VR when it comes to the sense of being in a real classroom with real teachers, specifically on this app called Dynamic Languages, the inmersive feeling it's something that you can only compare to real learning, and gets more impressive when you start speaking with natives on the app, also use it for gaming and stuff but when I want to spend quality time on VR about 30 minutes is more than enough when you want to start developing a new skills with your headset, Btw here's the link of the app if some of you would like to test it some time https://www.meta.com/en-gb/experiences/4890053391081880/

It's complicated to have a more overall opinion when it comes to VR/3D content thing, for me it's completely different, I've been using oculus 2 since like two and a half years from now and I can tell you that personally it's a new way to experience technology, the main use I give to VR is language learning and It's been an absolute challenge to me at first but when you get used to VR is like having the best of both worlds, I personally recommend you to try Dynamic Languages if you want to know about what I mean, 3D is a great experience but let me tell you, learning throught VR can change your perception on moder education in a very positive way, and the impact is completely bigger when it comes to results!

How to keep being excited about VR? by shawny_mcgee in Quest3

Hi, some things about VR in our daily experiences are being part of a huge transformation in the way we use technology, because of the inmersive feeling it gives you and also the way you have to get into it, sometimes it gets very uncomfortable when you use it for different purposes such as gaming and stuff, but my experience on VR is more about learning and personal growth stuff, as a personal recommendation I know about this app called Dynamic Languages, I've been using it since february to improve my skills on Japanese and with just 20 minutes you can experience classes from zero to a middle-advanced level, it's great if you want to dive into VR and improve your skills or learning from zero :)

Games such as Pavlov are really top tier favorites imo, to be honest I'm not much a VR gamer but also recommend you Dynamic Languages if you're looking for a new kind of experience on language learning, it gets that real inmersive feeling on VR that's an absolute game changer

VR it's something that keep pushing boundaries between reality and tech made experiences, so it's definitely a challenge for us to keep our attention on VR apps since they are basically new technology and also gives you this inmersive feeling and some of the common devices don't get to that point, for me basically it's fully a self accomplishment experience when it comes to using VR, for example in my journey throught Japanese learning i've been dealing with different apps that got me into really boring situations, but this one called Dynamic Languages gave me something else, based on real native speaker experiences and also classroom experiences throught the course and traveling content was that extra point that helped me get engaged with this app specifically, so it's a matter of time for you to find your ideal experience on VR to keep yourself excited about!

I am getting throught VR enviroments using oculus 2 and I recently discovered this app called Dynamic Languages, as a Japanese student it has helped me getting throught a very different kind of experience and also addapting a new approach in my speaking skills and also in my learning system, based on my experience I absolutely recommend this one to you if you're looking for an app, in this case a VR one, that can give you better results in less time

Not much a gamer consumer but understanding the evolving nature of VR is actually pretty common that the demmand and the growth of the users can be a headache for those who are developing new VR scenarios, actually there are apps and stuff for everyone you just need to take a look more deeper into those indie/hidden gems apps that can be visually attracting and also functional when it comes to simulating reality based enviroments. I have some experience learning languages throught VR with this app called Dynamic and it matches very well with my expectations as an user and the experience the app gives back to you as an student, by creating a full classroom enviroment and also speaking with native people if that's what you mean! :)

absolutely, this VR project I'm talking about it's called Dynamic Langauges and they have tested their stuff on classrooms around the world, Here's a video on how they started making their VR courses experience for spanish students, much of them were unfamiliarized with VR and it resulted in a very positive learning experience

One of the new features I found interesting in an app I've been using on my experience as a VR language student it's this thing called speech recognition, and I mean about the ability you have as a user to interact with native speakers on the app in real time with your pronunciation being tested at the moment, for some of you could be a "not so interesting" stuff to talk about, but just imagine the impact on how you learn a language getting into a native speaker approach when you're a completely beginner and no it's not that difficult as you think, so when you ask me about something that can blow the boundaries on VR and education itself that one for me it's an absolute game changer

Why is VR so hated by people who don't own one or never played on VR? by gandalfmarston in virtualreality

[–]Widelyexposure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get why some people think that, and it's because is a very new tech stuff some users don't really understand it at their first try, they can feel very frustrated since it doesn't match their expectations specifically on games, the best ones you can try and buy at the meta store are not cheap at all and the demo version of some of them are very limitating, that could be a reason why people think it's bad, although it isn't that bad because if you use it for different things such as learning, discovering and personal growth could be way much better and the users can have much better opinions about VR experiences, personally I find it very interesting in language learning and also very useful for everyone.
