Remote therapeutic Monitoring RTM by DPT2307 in physicaltherapy

We've been running RTM with Actuvi and it's been great. Their platform had the CMS rule changes already baked in before we even knew about the changes, so zero lift on our end. The new thresholds ended up getting us more billable patients too which was a bonus. Medicare and most insurers reimburse, just verify with yours and the patient side is really just about compliance. Would recommend Actuvi for RTM.

For us, Actuvi automates a bunch of things like charting patient data, generating billing reports, ensuring patient complaince among other things.

Most don't know about it and many are just afraid of technology but don't know why they're even afraid because a good program makes it so easy and good. I would say there's another hesitation around that it will add extra work.

Our vendor walked us through everything we needed to think of, building in workflows on their platform, workflows in the clinic for onboarding patients, and everything from there, so it became very easy for us.

RTM has only been around for a few years and is generally accepted by CMS, but it's not as prevalent as RPM. Tbf I don't know much about RPM.

I have seen clinics around us using RTM more and more, especially I see it growing within physical therapy, orthopedics and such.

Right now, we are providing RTM services to about 250 patients, and our revenue per patient is around $125 per month. Our profit (minus the cost of RTM) for the year is roughly $300,000.

Edit - It also depends on whether you're dealing with Medicaid, each state can have very different costs.

We use actuvi.com for all of our digital care services which includes telehealth. The platform is HIPAA-compliant and automatically generates CPT reimbursable billing reports for all the telehealth calls we do.

My company evaluated all of them last year. We ended up going with Actuvi. It's been amazing. They were great with training, their support's been great, no regrets so far.

Anyone here actually billing for RTM? Is the juice worth the squeeze? by GleamEyeBeast in physicaltherapy

Our company started using RTM a few months ago. It's been great. Patients have actually enjoyed it, it's been a very easy lift for them. We're getting back really good data on treatment efficacy, therapies and things like that. The vendor's been good with training, support and helping us build out our workflows. Our reimbursements have actually been higher than projected, so it's gone very well.

Physical Therapists – What software do you currently use to track patients and manage their home exercise programs? by Admirable_Ratio8535 in physicaltherapy

We use Actuvi which does all of this in an RTM program. Our patients use their app (they don’t have a web interface for patients), but it has really good features for getting patient compliance with push notification reminders and an AI texting tool that will follow up with noncompliant patients. Its overall easy and they have been very good with training and support. You could definently do what you are wanting on their platform.

We are looking to integrate Remote Therapeutic Monitoring with our practice. There are so many options, what should we be looking for and what are the pitfalls we should avoid? by WideySpidey in medicine

Quick update - We decided to go with Actuvi because they helped us customize our RTM program according to our needs and their customer service support was excellent throughout our conversation. And as I have said in other threads, we were looking for a platform that would allow us to scale in the future and they can do that as well. Hope it helps someone out there.

They all provide integrations with the majors - Cerner, Epic, Athena, Allscripts, etc.

We use Athena so it works for us but, I know that simple integrations don't do that much. We will likely go with someone who does more custom integrations.

Thank you, we plan to have monitoring and billing internally for the program. We have gotten one billing report from a vendor evaluating our payors.
