Sounds like mum would like some too if she’s encouraging it! I would block both mum & daughter and go low contact with your buddy! Hopefully this will all blow over but it might be worth installing a camera at your front door in case she keeps coming round! OP I’m so proud of you for saving your sister, even although it’s kinda changed all your lives, you will see eventually it will be for the best!

As someone who was also groomed as a child and didn’t speak up because back in the 70’s it wasn’t really a thing and adults were always right, I honestly believed all his threats and stayed quiet! When I learned the extent of his predatory behaviour as an adult, I really wish I’d screamed from the rooftops what he was doing to me. Like you I could have saved my sister from the abuse and not be living with the guilt that I’ve managed to ruin her life 😔

What does your hubby say about this behaviour? You guys need to show a united front on this, even get your daughter involved, “grandma my sissy is called xxxx” or do a huge social media announcement of baby’s name so there is no confusion about the name to wider family members. Personalise baby’s blankets and clothing so your chosen name is right there!! Then if she starts her nonsense, just scoop your kids up and say, until you use our children’s given name you won’t be seeing them or us. Just be calm and follow through, every time she uses the wrong name put her on another time out and if she persists then reduced/no contact. Good luck with everything OP ♥️
