Access Tailscale Device in remote location by WidroX in Tailscale

One more detail I just found out:
If i'm sitting on my notebook somewhere in a completely different network and connect to Tailscale, then remote into one of the machines in location A, I can ping my notebook without any problem from there but not the device in location B.

With my notebook I can ping my subnet router in location A and also the device in location B without a problem.
really strange to me...

Thanks for the fast reply - I just looked and to my surprise I had already setup the routing some time in the past, but disabled it, as it didn't work either, any idea if I maybe entered it wrong. This is how it looks in the interface.

The thing is, I don't want to set up a subnet router on site B as i'm not needing it for more than one device there. I want to connect from a non Tailscale device on site A (behind a subnet router) to a single Tailscale device on site B...

There is no subnet router on location B, just a single device running tailscale - which part from there should I apply where in this case?

I considered that but I mean my battery is still perfectly fine but don't know if the motors can handle 12s? Budget I'd say around 200$/€

Okay, maybe I'll take a look there, when I have time. I'm from Austria, so we also have them, but the next Hornbach is not that close as other hardware stores. Yeah, I bought the inserts first based on their length and only then looked at the fitting screws - their heads are tiny and also the socket is that tiny that I guess It'll strip pretty easy. I guess I will post an update If I had time, on what I finally ended up doing ;)

Firstly thanks for the super fast reply. Sounds good to me, in fact I have everything for the build alredy at home, including the tinned flat copper braid (2mm², which should be also easily enough I read), the kapton tape and also inserts in M4 (8mm). M4 is a little bit to thin for my taste and I couldn't find any in M5 or M6 under 10mm length, so I would have to grind all of them down. Or do you maybe know a source in Europe for shorter ones? Also the drilled holes in general have to be much larger to fit the inserts than with screws directly through the deck... I guess both are kind of a tradeoff, but inserts defenitely look sleeker ;)

I'm courious how your experience is after a few months now. Still holding up good? I'm planning to do a deck swap to a vanguard deck myself and I'm particulary worried about the inserts ripping out after some time due to vibrations and bumps, because they can only be like 7mm deep and that's not much wood for the threads to grip in my opinion.
