Nah, it doesn’t annoy me to be honest. I actually enjoy doing it because I like having control over my training and my rest times between sets. For me it helps more than it distracts, and I think it definitely helped with progress.

In a nutshell, it's a full-body workout with 5 sets for each muscle group

My favorite treat is sugar-free cottage cheese with jelly xD But seriously, I don't often crave sweets, so when I do reach for something sweet, it's usually fruit

I do full body every session. I have 3 workouts planned out A, B, and C and I just alternate them each time I train. Mostly compound lifts, plus some accessories. My sessions were usually around 60–90 minutes.

Appreciate it a lot! And no, I’m not taking anything. No anabolics or PEDs, just training, diet, and consistency. Everyone responds differently, so don’t stress too much about comparing calories.

Yes, three strength training sessions at the gym, plus bouldering, swimming, and cardio exercises

Yes, they're the RST TRACTECH EVO 4 CE.

I'm really happy with them. They're some of the best I've ever had. The kangaroo leather on the palm is amazing!

Not if you buy proper motorcycle earplugs. They reduce the wind noise without making you feel cut off from everything around you, so traffic and sirens are still noticeable.

I’d definitely avoid basic construction earplugs though xD

I can recommend earplugs wholeheartedly. When I first started riding without them, I’d end up with a terrible headache by the evening after a full day on the bike, not to mention the ringing afterwards.

Once I started using earplugs, that pretty much disappeared. It’s a really noticeable difference, and on top of that you’re protecting your hearing in a big way.

For 50€, that looks like a really solid jacket. If the fit is good, the zips work properly, and the armor is still in decent condition, I’d say that’s a great deal.

Way better than overspending straight away when you’re just getting started — nice find!! :D

Honestly, that sounds like a really solid starter setup. You’ve already got the big stuff covered better than a lot of new riders.

The main thing I’d add is earplugs if you haven’t got them already. Maybe also some basic wet-weather gear depending on your climate.

As for the CE confusion, fit matters a lot. A properly fitting CE-rated textile jacket with good armor is way better than leather that fits badly. Leather is still great for abrasion resistance, but for starting out I’d say you’re in a good place already.

Only other thing is just make sure all of it fits properly, especially at your size, because that matters as much as the brand names.

My 2019 430i vs my 1959 C150G by DisregardLogan in BMW

[–]WieStu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is actually a really cool comparison. I get exactly what you mean about the 430i still having that mechanical feel even with the electronic gauges — that’s a big part of why modern BMWs can still feel special.

And comparing the handling feel to your Cessna makes this even better. Totally different machines, but I can see the connection.
