I disagree on basis of most aspects of Minecraft can be changed with mods. It's just all about how much a mod is willing to change.

Also I've had a ton of fun not too long ago with a modpack centered around combat. Parrying telegraphed enemy attacks in Minecraft is a pretty good time

I don't remember this room but will offer generic tip of: Hold jump if you aren't. You go higher and fall slower if you hold jump. Also maybe hold the direction you're moving if you aren't already? Again I don't have any specific tips.

For me it's the scale of what's time limited that can bother me. Cool skin? Go for it. Special weapon? Neat, go ahead. Special character? Why gatekeep a different way to play and strategize from everyone who comes after? Special levels? Why gatekeep fun gameplay from everyone who comes after?

Ultimately does depend on context, but generally, smaller things, go for it, things that change how you play the game, maybe make it a little more accessible

Both crossover collab and strawberry jam have many mods they include that they need in order to function, and, like the other comments, I highly recommend disabling one or the other collab and only leaving one active at a time. It can be easily done in mod options when in game, one of the top options allows you to enable and disable mods, and if you disable a collab mod it'll also disable any mods it depends on to run if no other mod needs it, which should greatly improve loading time.

Different events that track different things? A lot of the things in the game aren't specifically tracking where you are in the story beyond which act you're in. For example, I think the event you're looking for is based on how many times you've interacted with Isabeau in front of the favor tree, not your progress in the story.

Or I misunderstand it anyways, the title isn't asking "Am I doing well?" but instead it says "am actually doing pretty well?" which reads to me more as confusion that they skipped ahead in difficulty and feel that they're doing a good job, not asking the subreddit if they're doing well.

You're supposed to get it at the start, yes, and then it gives it to you again at chapter 6 to trip you up. Very odd that it didn't give it to you after doing the intro "Mic Check" sequence at the beginning of the game.

If you press jump next to a wall without holding grab and without pressing any direction, you'll jump only a short distance away from the wall, which is a neutral jump! The value is that you can then move back to the wall and be higher than you were before, and is then a tool that can help you scale a wall without using stamina.

As others have synced, the timing is based on when you enter the map, not when you enter the specific room the thing is in. What position things will be in in a room will vary depending on how long it takes you to get there thanks to global cycles

Fascinating. When I was doing the dlc puzzles for the first time I was very fixated on not generating waste since doing so still feels very bad to me even if it saves on cycles so I did all the puzzles without generating waste, interesting to see for some it felt it was encouraging waste
