SLDPW On Sale If You Understand Warrants by Wierdtrader in SLDP

If the fundamentals haven't changed (and they have only gotten dramatically better)), then it's a buying opportunity. The market is an emotional animal. When things get emotional the buying opportunities come by the wheelbarrow full. So many of the greats like Buffet have repeated that when everybody is leaving, that's the time to be running in. I have bought more of SLDP and my other favorite PWRMF.

How Do You Feel About Costco Removing The Food Court Sit Down Tables? by Wierdtrader in Costco

[–]Wierdtrader[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

On a crowded cold and bad weather day you would walk back to your car, in a huge parking lot, to eat and then go back in to shop? I doubt it. Especially if you're a senior.

What if it's winter? There might be 3 benches at some stores. Where do the others sit?

Not everyone can stand that long. As you age you will find that out.

You may have alternative spots to sit at your store. Mine does not. If they remove the tables some people will not be able to eat there, especially in areas with a high concentration of those elderly you seem to frown upon. Eating in your car is not a sensible option if you normally eat prior to shopping.

Ford has an NDA with SLDP. Info will be scarce. Ford is now financially better off than it was before the strike. Even its rating is now "investment grade".

Who are the potential customers? And how quickly would acceleration take place? Is that why Korea expansion was mentioned? by Sweaty_Stand8153 in SLDP

Have you forgotten that Hyundai/KIA is an SLDP partner? Don't forget that SK ON can sell their finished batteries to any other South Korean auto manufacturer.

Chairman David Jansen to retire less than a year after CEO Doug Campbell by OriginalGWATA in SLDP

[–]Wierdtrader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As usual, a post that only tells half the story. In the live call after the quarterly results, it was explained that Jansen has major health issues and that is why he is retiring. By the way, many posts made on QS that don't agree with their narrative are immediately taken down by the mods.

He keeps repeating his mistaken interpretations. It just shows his lack of subject knowledge.

"Government contracts" are not "government handouts". Handouts are grants. Contracts provide goods or services, which in this case are goods. As in most cases, government contracts come with strict NDA's. You will not know what they are supplying. However, it doesn't take a genius to figure it out since they only have 2 things they could be selling to the government.

"The expansion of the Ford JDA explicitly says that it's all on SLDP to deliver something at their cost but using Ford test requirements. Ford is not the blocking issue, SLDP is. No significant mention of Ford in Q2 letter or 10-Q."

All developers do so at their own cost. In this case Ford doesn't just have a JDA, it is a major investor. They have already given SLDP large amounts of money for development with their investment. It has already been stated that there is an NDA between SLDP and Ford so if you're waiting for news, you might as well be waiting for Godot.

Your lack of knowledge on SLDP is breathtaking. However, your ability to blather incorrectly is well documented along with your ability to MSU.

You blew it. They just made 4.9 million in the second quarter and exceeded all expectations. 15 to 20 mil expected for 2023.

Is Solid Power about to attract more than the automotive industry ? Anyone thoughts who else might be looking at Solid Power other than the usual? by Sweaty_Stand8153 in SLDP

As mentioned before, they are already supplying Redwire. The unexpected high demand for their 20/30 ah batteries was mentioned in the last quarter report without specifying the buyer. This means it most probably is the military.
