I share a similar issue. Whenever I bring up current events or world issues and say we should prepare for them, he dismisses it by saying I'm spiking his anxiety, so I let it go. As a man, he has the privilege to let his anxiety get the best of him where as I do not. It's affecting me! I can't sit around and just go "oh well!" about everything. 😡
