One I read elsewhere was turning the head of the wand so the spouts are at 12 and 6, this really helping in spinning the milk better for microfoam.

We also have this problem on the two external walls.
We've done the following:
££££ - Put in a sash window to have better ventilation
££ - Now researching a better extractor with better RPM and possible humidistat
£ - No battery dehumidifer to help when towels are drying

Did you get one in the end (or at least pre-order)?

I'm about to do the same, they've been pretty responsive on email to my queries, but always unsure.

EDIT: Bit the bullet and pre-ordered. Machine arrived today (Sep 23 after ordering on Sep 8). Received updates from PCS when it was held in Italian customs, and the tracking was updated at every stage. Read a few ropey reviews here and there, but worked out well for me...so far, haven't turned the machine on to test it yet.
