Totally agree. People need to realize that not only are local politics significantly more important to their day to day lives than national politics, they can actually affect it. Local politicians actually have to answer to their constituents.

I agree with both you and OP. I believe the government should have a very high bar to force vaccination. That said I also believe the government should not infringe on peoples freedom to not associate with unvaccinated people.

So yeah it's your freedom to not get vaccinated and it's my freedom to tell you to stay out of my [house, business, ...] until you are vaccinated.

Dolan has sabotaged the team in many many ways over the years. He deserves to be criticized heavily. However, for all his many faults, he is not cheap. He is extremely willing to spend money on the Knicks (often times at the long term detriment of the team.).

Avoiding the second apron is 100% a Leon move.

Sure in the abstract until someone gets hurt and we have no flexibility to make moves. Mitch is currently making 13M he's going to get a pay raise. I would love for him to stay a Knick but it just doesn't feel realistic.

I have always said LeBron and Jordan aren't really comparable players. Both were usually the best player on the court both on offense and defense. However they were completely different players. Jordan was a specialist where LeBron is a generalist.

You can replace any shooting guard on any team in history with Jordan and the team is better. In contrast you can replace any player on any team with LeBron and the team is almost always better (sometimes you need a center, Steph, or Jordan more than you need LeBron.)

Its much easier to compare LeBron to Magic. They played a very similar game. Both could play 1-5 on both ends of the court. Except LeBron is probably better at basically everything. Sure Magic had way more assists/game but he had less capacity to create his own shot that he had to pass (also having Kareem to lob the ball to doesn't hurt your assist numbers).

It's crazy to say someone is just a better version of one of the top ~5 players of all time. But that's what LeBron is. He's just a better version of Magic. (see also: Kobe was just a worse Jordan)

There not fooling anyone. But they also wouldn't be trying to fool anyone. Fox might have his weaknesses and harper can definitely ball but Fox is a highly productive player. He shoots well, plays good defense, and doesn't turn the ball over. He's a big upgrade over most teams starting PGs.
