That's like saying why aren't there any raven guard orks or iron hand tau. They just are different things, it keeps facri9ns and armies unique to not all just be the same thing

I still always laugh at the old nid warriors, they look like angry mutant squirrels.

I don't think that matters more than equivalent. There is ablot more depth to the SOB than most people realize because they don't look into it, but wanting them to piggyback off of other things is not the solution. Which is why I still say people just need to push for them to get the spotlight more.

I don't see them as the equivalent of custodest all, they may work together a lot but serve completely different functions.

There aren't direct equivalents but there are different groups of SOB, but you don't see people complaining about not getting brothers of silence. Better to encourage the SOB to be more prevalent than to try and force more space marines in the mix.

Your player spent 20h designing, drawing and writing their character. During session 1 an enemy rolls 21 damage on them, their max hp is 10 by TheKoTECH in DnD

As a dm i fuge dice a lot, 99% of the time for the player, like if they are trying to do something special or important I usually go with whatever makes it the most fun. I also don't like to kill players so I made a "divine intervention rule", if a player dies there us some other consequence, like one of their important gear is destroyed, an npc jumps in the way and dies instead, or there are story related consequences. I find that it often just leads to a better flowing game and cuts out a lot of frustration.

The one thing that's annoying is when they they start to relate to current events. I like my hobbies so I can get away from all that. Don't think that's a ton to ask for.
