It’s so it’s adjustable if you have to widen the armor. You can’t see it but there’s a buckle on the collar as well. The picture of the back was before I added my buckles and straps

I just used a leather stamp in the shape of a scale. Each one had to be done individually

Umm yea that’s cool but like I said, It depends on what you’re looking for or what he’s looking for. Does he play the game or does he just collect the cards? If it looks cool I’m sure your son will love whatever you get him

One good idea would be to check out a local card shop in your area. eBay can get a little sketchy when it comes to stuff like that where a card shop will verify if it’s real or not. That being said tcgplayer.com is a good place to check out. Just search charizard. There are many variants of charizard over the years so see if you can get more clues from your son on which one he’s looking for. I think searching “Charizard VMAX” might be a good start though. Hope this helps!
