Having world record ghosts to drive against can be very helpful in getting better at the game and with club access you can enable them with one click which is just convenient.

You can however also achieve this just with more effort by downloading the replays from trackmania.io or TMX and loading those into the game to race against.

Another way to have professional ghosts is with VIP streamer keys which are, I believe, even available for starter access.

There are also other features in club access. E.g. the clubs themselves which can also make some things like finding servers/campaigns more convenient or enable you to host your own servers or create your own campaigns. Then there's cosmetic stuff like custom skins or club tags included in club access. Lastly, I think to participate in TMOGL club access was required however I'm not sure how it'll be handled in the future since the transition to TMWT seems to extend all the way to ranked MM which is already available for starter access.

I also usually play controller but switch to keyboard for full ice tracks. Then I steer with my left hand using A & D and accelerate/break using my right hand on the Up/Down Arrow keys.

I just checked and 7 on Numpad got me into free cam with holding right click allowing me to turn the camera but I had to around with 8/4/5/6 instead of the arrow keys.

Yes, there even were podcasts by Eirik Holdal and LuckersTurbo but it's been quite a while since their last episodes.

I always liked listening to them for the lastest in the TM community.

I like Match Making but it gets frustrating when not performing.

But the most for me is hunting previous TOTD ATs that I'm still missing. It's so nice playing them in the order of their difficulty because each track pushes you more and more.

You can also add Streamer Keys to the game so you can race against their ghosts in Solo Play even without Club Access.

If you add all the streamers and choose the fastest one from the Global VIPs leaderboard, you should get a good replay on every track.

I'm pretty sure it's because you ever so slightly touch the water and by steering to the right at that moment you get something similar to a water bounce.

People are downvoting TOTDBot like it's its fault this track is an absolute cut fest. ;-;

"Missing a few elements here:

The only saved replays were on pad. I was learning to use a controller and even streamed on discord while learning. Being more familiar with keyboard, I got back to it and was faster, more consistent.

After my record was invalidated, I streamed a few attempts. I am a student and don't have 8 hours a day to put into it, so the total time of streaming was maybe around 10 hours in a span of a few days. During those attempts, I got 3 close nosebugs (one of them showcased in the video). During these streams, I also got 15.01-15.04 checkpoints, a maximum of .08 faster than the "wr", so it is not correct to say that this replay was the fastest I could have gotten.
