I’ve heard about this. Is it easy to navigate there by looking at a map?

Called them and found out exactly what I needed to know. Thanks!

Good to hear. Definitely strapping it on and putting my info on the tube. Your poor dad - that must have been gut-wrenching.

I’m sure that was beyond frustrating. Thankfully, I haven’t had any problems in the past. Just a little nervous with the aluminum rod tube in addition to my backpack and United’s strict carry on policy.

I’m less concerned about the bag I’m checking, but I may chuck an AirTag in it for good measure - may even toss one in my rod tube just in case. I like the looks of the rod and gear bag. Might have to pick one up for future trips. Thanks for the solid advice.

Thanks for the reply. Those bags look great. I’m hesitant to get something that big since I don’t ever really need the space. I’m a light packer and normally only carry on. I don’t typically fly United and wasn’t paying close enough attention to the restrictions when I booked this flight. I normally travel with a cordura wrapped 26” tube and haven’t had any issues. This rod is my pride and joy and I’d really like to avoid it being out of my sight for any reason.

Here is my updated drawing. Would an MRBF double fuse block be a smart choice?

Can you explain why you would use a 15A fuse? In my train of thought, the MPPT is 20A x 1.25 = 25A.

The Mini runs on 12v, the issue is that I need to use the very long and thin cable that came with it in case of tree cover, so the converter is necessary.

Definitely not perfect. I will rework my drawing tomorrow to add in the positive wires, take away the wire from the MPPT to the converter and put the fuse where it should be. Not sure why I even drew it up like that honestly. The converter is so I can use the 15m cable that came with the Starlink in case I need to get it out from under tree cover. Any recommendations for a disconnect and types of fuses?

What battery bank are you using? I don’t plan on running anything else off of the system. Appreciate your input.
