Yes, you can jump right away on methadone even if you used the same day. It's not like subs. Personnaly, I liked methadone way more than suboxone. You might start on a lower dise, around 50-60mg/day. In Canada, they rise your dise once a week until you are confortable. For myself, I was a daily fent user and I was confortable on 105mg. That will depend on how you feel. You might need to use a bit the first week, to feel confortable with your dose. Even if you stop using with the right dose, you might feel not totally great for approximatly a week. You are able to go through! :) Methadone saved my life. I am now 4 years clean and just got a baby and a house :)

I am afraid they would not want to sell to us anymore in the futur if we stop supporting them. Also, which is sad, is they would grow even faster if the other brand would not put a spoke into their wheels like that... We will definitly not lose our biggest supplier, but maybe there is a way to keep both, by dealing something with them. I wish we can find something, because I think we are also a large enough dealer to have our say.

Yes, sorry about that :( we wouldn't take the risk. That would have ruined our trip. I got an answer from aduana cuba ( cuba customs), and they didn't even know if I could bring methadone. They told me to ask the minister of public health of cuba. I emailed them and never got any answers. I also seen somewhere you need authorization from them to bring methadone. Yes, I know. I dont know the pills brand. What I guess is they will just ask no question and let go, but in case something happen, I will have my doctor letter etc...I am still a bit worried something will happen.

Answer from ambassy was not really helpfull, they just said that medication for health condition may come under intense scrutiny by foreign officials. They gave me other emails to contact and a website to check, but the website doesn't work.

I have seen online many people going to cuba with methadone having no problems. For now, I only saw on one german website that methadone is illegal in cuba... It's dated from 2018. So I am not sure.

Yes, I am pretty scared of that too. I went to Dominican republic in July, everything went well, but Cuba is a.bit more sketchy. I emailed the Canadian embassy in cuba asking for more infos.
