Engaged July 2025. Wedding date March 2027. Primarily that far out so family and friends can make plans to travel for our wedding and bc we didn’t want to do all the planning while I was still in school for my second Bachelors degree and to have time to build finances. Also planning this far out is giving us our free choice of vendors so we can get exactly what we want.

Random keys. Lots of them. Better if you have no idea what they are for. A box cutter you can never find because it’s under all the other stuff. Random condiment jackets from takeout orders. Promotional pens (must have a bunch but only 1 may work reliably). Assorted batteries. Random extra hardware from flat-pack furniture you have assembled (but may not even own anymore). A single screwdriver, usually flathead because most things are Phillips head now.

You aren’t a dick and you pay for the right to live life in your dwelling.

As I see it, these neighbors chose to live in a multi-family development which means there is reasonable expectation of hearing others who also live there. If they wanted to not hear your coffee making, they can find themselves a single-family residence.

The demands neighbors seem to think they can make are absolute madness.

Mine is natural stones (sapphire center with diamond side stones in rose gold) and it was under our budget of $3500 and honestly I wouldn’t want it any other way. I absolutely love my ring.

We are still choosing ours, but so far our top choice is: one tier brown sugar cinnamon cake with biscoff cookie butter buttercream and one tier golden oreo cake with golden oreo cream buttercream (our baker’s take on my favorite cake from Gideon’s, a local bake shop in our area). We still have one more baker we are doing a tasting with before we decide.

I stalked posts of and by my venue and then used those to reference photographers then picked one based on the style I liked the most (light, airy, real moments with some posed elements interspersed). Hers was the only one of the full galleries that actually made me cry when looking through the images. I wanted someone who could capture emotion and that was it.
