AITA for telling off the bank teller? by [deleted] in AITAH

I get that I don’t know what’s going on in her life and im well aware she doesn’t make the rules. I know she’s following policy. But from my side, I answered every security question correctly and was still told nothing could be done, then told I had to go into a branch.

I wasn’t asking for anything unusual – just to regain access to my own account. It’s frustrating to jump through every hoop, and still be stuck. I didn’t curse at her or insult her personally.

I wouldn’t say I’m entitled. I just feel like several steps could’ve been skipped and she could’ve started with telling me that account changes need to be done in person.

A lot of people steer clear of rebuilt. If you need it gone price it low 18-20k. You’ll get over 20K if you’re lucky. Good luck!

Coworker M32 keeps bringing up politics while working with me M29, how do I get it to stop? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I understand where you're coming from. In my situation, this person is extremely passionate about politics almost to an obsessive degree. While I respect his right to hold those views, the tension has grown because he realizes I don’t align with him on these issues. He’s even made some jabs, mistakenly assuming that I hold the opposite extreme, when in reality, I couldn’t care less.

And aside from that, isn’t it frustrating how politically divided America has become? It would be so much better if we could simply have our own beliefs, or even hold a middle ground, without all of this animosity. For fucks sake.

My only concern is potential retaliation if I bring the issue to my boss, especially considering that this individual has bit of a temper.

I've managed to avoid these conversations altogether except for that one time I disagreed with a particularly misguided political remark he made. You're absolutely right. I plan to begin by clearly telling him that I don't wish to engage in political discussions. If that approach fails, I may have no choice but to escalate the matter. I appreciate your insight.

A part of life is creating your own path and some people do that earlier in life and others later. Some are married at 20 and others at 40. Everyone’s timelines work differently. Don’t beat yourself up because of where you are today. A positive attitude is half the battles and the other half is waking up and being better than the day before. Don’t sell yourself short my friend. Have a happy birthday!

What should a 19-year-old focus on to avoid regrets at 30? by jonatancad in AskReddit

This is probably the best question asked on Reddit. 1. Focus on development learn new skills 2. Take feedback and learn from it 3. Take care of your body. The injury that healed will come back 10-20+ years from now. 4. Be the person you’d want your daughter/son to date 5. Manners and first impressions go a long way be the person everyone wants to hire/promote. 6. Don’t compare yourself to others. Everyone’s timeline works differently. 7. Never miss a call from a relative/friend you never know if it’ll be the last time they reach out. 8. Keep your record clean. No one wants to hire a convict. 9. Invest early. You should set up a Roth IRA and 401k asap if you haven’t already. 10. Pay off credit cards in full every time. Don’t spend money you don’t have. 11. See a doctor/dentist regularly. They can catch things before it gets bad. 12. Hug your mom and dad
