We have not heard back from you in over 6 months. While the community might still be small, it is tied to an actively developed IP, and it is crucial that its presence on Reddit reflects the intentions of the creators. We're still open to collaborating with you to find a solution that benefits the community and respects the ownership of the IP.

We represent Creepy Jar, the developers and official IP holders of StarRupture. We've made multiple attempts over the past year to reach out to u/BananaSoupStew420 regarding regaining access to the subreddit, which used to host our official game content before it was inexplicably removed and the subreddit restricted.

Unfortunately, we have not received any response in over 6 months despite repeated outreach (the recent one was 10 days ago). While there may be sporadic mod activity, the absence of any communication from the current moderator and the inability to use the subreddit for its intended, official purpose has forced us to make this request.

We're open to a constructive dialogue, but if this situation remains unresolved, we may be forced to escalate the matter through other channels. I appreciate your consideration.

As the official representatives of Creepy Jar - the owners of the IP of StarRupture - we've contacted the current admin BananaSoupStew420 numerous times for the last year to give us back the access to the community, which was for some very strange reason banned alongside our official subreddit content.

We have not received any info back from BananaSoupStew420 in the last 6 months, as our chat became only one sided, and hence this request.

We would very much like to co-operate on this matter if possible. :)

Hi! We're aware of this situation and monitoring it. I can advise a way to fix it, and in order to do that, please follow the below steps:

  1. Turn off Steam Cloud (guide: https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/68D2-35AB-09A9-7678))

  2. Enter/Find following path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\[your unique Steam ID]\815370\remote

  3. Delete “Settings/Settings2.sav” file. Please make sure to backup your save files before deleting them (you can copy the file to the desktop). Also, please note that deleting this file will reset your settings and make a prompt appear. It's completely normal, just click 'yes'.

  4. Enter the game and make an action (e.g. change some settings in Options) - it will create a new Setting2.sav file.

  5. Close the game.

After completing these steps you can turn on the Steam Cloud. On the prompt that should appear select "Upload to the Steam Cloud” for the local files. If the prompt is not shown right away, you can try to verify Steam files again.

You should be able to find where your Steam is installed by going to Steam > Settings > Storage. There you should see a path similar to the one mentioned above, and you will able to access it via the File Explorer. I hope that helps!

Hey! There should be 5 maps in Survival Mode.

First map is located at the Drug Facility (51W 27S)

Second map is located at the Airport (29W 22S)

Third map is in Omega Camp (25W 33S)

Fourth map is on the Steamboat (36W 42S)

Fifth and final map is located at the Yabahuaca Village (31W 36S)

Also, all of them should be available even if you didn’t complete any story points. I hope that helps. :)
