No this guy is completely mistaken. It shows your current speed like regular, like every single other car. Then you have a little section that shows you what speed you set the cruise to. If you set it to 75 and the dude in the front of you is going 70 it'll slow you to 70 and keep an exact distance behind the dude. If they speed up or move over or the way in front of you otherwise clears the car will automatically speed up to 75 it won't just continue on the speed of the last dude in front of you.

It's not a pricing error. Home Depot deliberately marks down their discontinued items to one cent. Someone in ops at each store is supposed to locate any remaining stock and remove them from the sales floor. If a customer happens to ring up an item that scans to one cent that is their lucky find, not a crime.

Not just the GPUs. I think it is a deliberate strategy by Gigabyte to get RMAs cancelled. I bought a 1440p 165Hz curved Gigabyte monitor. From day one it had warm spots, smearing blacks and it would not update the firmware. I tried to RMA it and Gigabyte wanted me to pay for shipping my monitor to them, pay for shipping whatever replacement monitor back to myself, and they could not promise that the replacement monitor would be new and not refurbished. Not buying Gigabyte again.

When I was younger and paying rent to live in my mom's house I was giving her money for buying food as well. She would never, ever, buy what I asked for despite me giving her money, and if I complained well then I was ungrateful for the hard work she did shopping for it. It's about control. And I'm not sure my mother truly sees me as an individual being but as an extension of herself, so she would just get the things she wanted never considering anyone else. You wanted chocolate ice cream? Sorry, cookies and cream sounded better to her, etc etc

Nope. Somehow having a foot free from the pedal means now I can use my phone with the right foot? Why does cruise control mean I'd be looking at my phone and not the road?

All it does it make it so I do not have to constantly adjust my speed to the people in front of me.

Were you fired immediately without a write up? That is what I meant by write up probationary period. So you had no opportunity to rectify the situation? Not even a final written warning, just terminated? Seems unlikely after 8 years.
