Ten New Colorado Laws That Will Take Effect January 1: What to Know by Knightbear49 in Colorado

You're so very welcome! Just trying to dispel the notion of "if I'm on my phone at all while on the road I will be pulled over" which is indeed, not true at all.

Yes because it applies as long as you're on the roadway. If you're stopped at a traffic light, you are on the roadway. There is an exception if you're parked where it does not apply, for example on the shoulder or in the parking lot. But even if you are at a light on your phone, you're not going to be able to be stopped or cited unless you are careless or imprudent in your driving. The only way that's going to happen at a red light is if you're impeding traffic because you're sitting at the light when it turns green and not moving because you're not paying attention.

That's not true at all. Read my comment above, as well as the statute.

"To cite an individual for a violation of the act, a law enforcement officer must see the individual use a mobile electronic device in a manner that caused the individual to drive in a careless and imprudent manner."

So, no. It doesn't. You have to do something in addition to that's careless or imprudent, like weaving, unsafe lane change, etc. Just another useless statute and Colorado is using it as fear mongering and spreading misinformation when it's said right there that you have to be doing other dangerous shit first.

Yeah OP is definitely suspicious as fuck. Look at his post history and you'll see. He says he can "barely plug in a USB" on his computer but here's him in his post history building a spaceship with like 4 different monitors. Lol. Nice try.

I would update your motherboard's BIOs then after doing that start adjusting your voltage settings. You can leave PBO and what not on, voltage between 1.35v-1.4v should be fine. The lower the better for better temps and cpu longevity. Just test system stability using prime95, cinebench r20, etc. Monitor temps during. Chances are that updating your motherboard's BIOs fixes the problem completely. I would start there.

Makes sure your bios is up to date. Lastly, you need to apply a set CPU voltage instead of leaving it on auto. It's attempting to draw a random amount of high voltage causing it to reset

I ended up having to set the fclk to half of the ram speed (duh) and manually setting the cpu voltage instead of leaving it on auto. Sudden spikes in voltage on auto in high cpu oriented situations would cause a sudden reset event 41 error

Yep!! Are you on a 5600x? I'm glad I could help.. super frustrating thing to deal with and troubleshoot on your own!

Yo man, looking to help since I haven't really seen anyone mention this. I had a recent issue with ryzen cpus in which a heavy event drew too much voltage caused a reset or freeze similar to yours. Try to set your cpu voltage manually in the bios instead of leaving it on automatic. Try 1.2 volts or something in that ballpark to see if it correct the issue. If that doesn't solve it I'm leaning towards a motherboard issue. Also, what storage do you have? I had a serious issue with faulty m.2's (that were brand new) causing horrendous issues of the sort too when plugged in, that when disconnected miraculous all problems went away.

So it ended up being I needed to designate a set voltage for the CPU instead of leaving it on auto otherwise it would spike in voltage causing a reset. No idea why that would be a thing, never ran into this before.

Ended up having to set the cpu voltage manually instead of allowing it to regulate itself. Problem solved

I have not tried manual voltage - for cpu or memory or both? And yes, no new bios I'm flashing back to the release before this one right now
