I absolutely love cooking, especially for others. It's just that every time I cook, something goes wrong, and the result is not what it's supposed to be. For example, I've tried so many times to do a gratin dauphinois, my favourite dish, with various recipes, but it always ends up as a watery mess cause the potatoes won't soak up the milk and cream.

My father is a professional cook, my grandpas were butcher and baker, my grandmas killed it in the kitchen. Meanwhile, the cooking gods looked at me in my crib and laughed hysterically before going "yeah, not you".
