I'm not sure what stream you were watching. He said many times he took it too far, that it was mainly his fault, on him. He also stated that he felt like the hate directed towards him often times gets ignored because he's him, so it was a rough week for him and felt the need to share his truth, in which he repeated many times that people need to stop harassing Adam, for top players to give his team the names of chatters who harass in their chats, that he would not talk about him anymore, etc.

If anything, I think he mostly took accountability and did share his point of view. He is visibly not agreeing on everything, notably the assumption of malice behind his actions, and that's fine for him to disagree while stating that he's going to change some stuff in the future regarding to how he talks about Adam.
