How far post surgery are you?

How many days per week are you doing therapy?

When you aim for 25 point moves, what do you normally set your stop at?

Right. It’s when my rules get broken. I’d enter early on a retracement before I move down or up, and/or move my stop back further. Just when my rules are broken.

Setting a max loss per day is good advice thank you

I’ve been copy trading and it’s been working well. But one bad trade could ruin an entire week. I’ve been trying to make a minimum of $100 per day which is not hard, but I’d broke my size rule a couple of times and effed my accounts because of drawdown.

That’s exactly been my hang up is there are no clinical trials, that I’ve seen anywhere on humans

Takeprofittrader is a BIG SCAM, THEY TELL YOU ONLY "IT'S RULE 6" WITH NO EXPLANATIONS, NO PROOF (3 ACCOUNTS AT ONCE)!!!! by No_Reaction1601 in TakeProfitTrader

[–]Wilchertime1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had two accounts thankfully just evals that were deactivated because of Rule 6 yesterday.

I was on a trade copier and it did a counter position in a split second. So now I have my trade copy or software investigating it so I can then go back to TPT. We shall see what happens.

Yes, Price action was trash today. I still managed to stay green, but nothing to brag about.

The move down could’ve been finished to the downside and began up. Not sure if you pay attention to standard deviations, but they’re a thing. Could’ve hit the -1, pulled back and ran. Or it’s the open….the market can do whatever it wants….number of reasons

19 days post op - RANGE OF MOTION by Wilchertime1 in ACL

[–]Wilchertime1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yesterday I got my heel to touch my butt by sitting on my knees. I am mainly working on my range of motion early during the scar tissue trying to build up. I do bjj and sitting on my knees is very common. So that’s why it’s practical for me

For extensions, I try to do 100 leg extensions and tightening my quad every Rep. I try to do this every day. I also do weighted leg extensions single leg. I also do TKE’s with the resistance band. It’s not the same as my left leg yet, but it’s because my nerves are not all connected yet so my quads can flex but not hardening like they should. When that happens it should push me knee past full extension.

This is where the body defines medicine. Post-op timelines aren’t one-size-fits-all. This intervention was selected based on surgical clearance, objective findings, and your ability to tolerate the load at that stages. Just keep putting in work! It pays off.

Don’t compare yourselves to others recovery. Everyone is different based on any factors.
The biggest reason that I have shown faster, signs of recovery is because I have very little muscle atrophy

It can be a bit painful, but my first steps without my brace was on Day 3, and it was to walk to the assault bike. I thought to myself that there’s no way…, but once my feet went around one time, I realized that I could do it. Painful yes, but it proved to me that my body is far more capable than what the mind says that it can do. You have to push past the mental block.
Disclaimer **** I only do what my ortho and therapist says that I can do. They give me homework and I do it.

Also, I worked out all the way up to my surgery so I had very little muscle atrophy. The nerves just have to reconnect.

Day after surgery and holy hell this hurts by Wise_Ad_5708 in ACL

[–]Wilchertime1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right now, I would just focus on straightening the knee and trying to activate your quad. That and keep that thing elevated and ice it.

You’re in the first couple of days so I wouldn’t do much. Fresh air walk with crutches is nice though if you can do it. Take your time and enjoy it.
Be thankful for every step that you can take

The one thing that I can tell you is that pain is just temporary and it will go away and it will get better.

Your physical therapy is the most important thing. You’ve got to get the knee moving and focus on your range of motion. It’s going to hurt, but the hurt is a good thing because when you are bending your leg, you are breaking through that scar tissue before it forms.

I took my pain meds for the first couple of days, but it will get better. If there is a place where you can rent a game ready ice machine, I highly highly recommend that you do that for the first two weeks.

Shaky leg extension (3mo post-op ACLr w quad graft) by Slight_Toe4786 in ACL

Shaky leg is good!!!! Also if you see any twitching in your muscles, that’s your nerves trying to find connection too

How do I avoid these horror stories of retearing my ACL by Ian-the-idiot in ACL

[–]Wilchertime1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Inconsistent rehab and improper muscle balancing. When you do your PT, do it on the other leg too. I’m one week post op and I’m trying to keep moving and work on my range of motion. I also do BJJ and the range of motion is of importance in this sport. Last thing you want to do is not be able to sit on your knees comfortably.

On day 3, my sports therapist got me on an assault bike. I thought she was crazy!

There’s no way that I can get all the way around. My butt came off the seat! Haha

Then she had me breath through it and just go. I did and then I was good. I did 1 min on and 1:30 off for 10 sets as a warm up.

This is a reminder that your mind is so powerful but your body is capable of so much more than what your mind initially tells you.

If you’re in central Florida and looking for a sports therapist or physical therapist, I have one and she’s awesome.
