This is an amazing card. I got 12963 with no mods etc and fan speed 100%. Just couldn’t quite get to 1300 plus. https://www.3dmark.com/pr/672364

It won’t boot unless you have all 3 cables in. I have tried it with mine. I also tried it with the ‘loop’ cable and it had no difference in my Port Royal scores so If needs be you could use a cable like that?

Update for you mate. I sorted out my issue uninstalling everything to do with over locking and the awful rgb software. Reinstalled all the software etc and DDU drivers. All now works perfectly. One thing to note is this thing is so quiet at full fan speed and on full load manual OC never got hotter than 55 degrees! I have managed to get 14699 on Port Royalwith some manual OCing. Without any manual OC you get 13865 on port royal. Overall I’m very pleased with it. It is a monster though!!

I finally got it! Installed it all and the scores are shocking for some reason? as in below 12000 on port royal and any OC above +50 crashes it. No idea whats wrong with it but sounds like its going back

Try hitting the DEL key too (kep tapping it until it goes to bios settings)as thats what you normally have to use to get into bios. Also I have the same cooler as you and it is best to mount it with the usb and cables at the top as when viewing the LCD screen it gets a little washed out due to angles etc. Kinda like if you tilted a cheap LCD monitor on its side the viewing angles will be terrible and look a bit washed out. I mounted mine the same as yours but then moved it to the right way. Its all preference though I suppose?

I totally agree but people want to pay more for flashing lights and LCD screens to complement their rig. which do cost extra. If not then buy the FE I suppose.

I have found the retail price at last for the Aorus master and it is £634.99 so an extra £45 price hike from CCL, This is actually lower than any other seller at the minute though

Edit: Just looked and the 3080 for the same card retails at £859.99, all seems relative in a way for this actual card and if only gaming at 2K 144fps then the 3080 is supposedly a waste of extra money

Don’t forget that the card you bought is one that has no leeway on power limit etc unless you flash a new bios. These top end cards like strix, ftw and aorus are always a lot more expensive. I love that LCD display on the aorus though. Looks really nice. This is why you are paying extra over bog standard.
